Lone Silence - :u:
Enchantment
Sacrifice Lone Silence: Counter target spell. Any player may play this ability.
Words are said to be the perfect weapon. But they're the easiest weapon to disarm.

i like that ... is smth unique ... it could see play sometimes ... even if it can be used to counter a crap or your spell but i really like that ... good work there

for some reason, i get a haunting vibe that reminds me of one of my favourite cards, standstill. This doesn't net the same sort of advantage once the standstill is broken, but the gameplay is strikingly similar, worthy of constructed/casual formats. well done.

yeah, this really reminds me of standstill, too. . .why didn't you word it like standstill. . .? "when a spell is played, sac ~ and counter that spell."

This wording seems fitting, though. Simple, and effective.
Good card, really.

the fact that the thing can be sac'ed at any time makes this a lot more interesting to play around than standstill. There is another level of strategy when it comes to deciding whether or not you let players play certain spells. This is where I feel that this card is strictly cooler than standstill from a gameplay perspective than a strategy/constructed perspective.

ah, i didn't know about hesitation. . .realistically, this is a big bother on the board. . .the opponent hill get rid of it as soon as possible. . .he may play crap to try to get you to blow it, but each time he gets something through, you're falling behind in development. . .

likewise for the person playing it. If he designs his deck with more building spells than his opponent, it would be more to his favor. That's why this spell plays so much like standstill: the person playing it already has his deck design with that specific purpose

How I love simple cards that need huge tactics to work properly...

yah this is much better than hesitation, the card dose not requre you to blow it on the first spell played.
