Your idea of the perfect Yugioh game

I'm not talking about existing games, but of what you think a perfect yugioh game should be like. For me it should have all the cards. I mean all of them. In 7 trials to glory, they don't have Vampire Lord or Scapegoats or even Breaker! That is the first thing they should do. Actually include all the cards there are so far. So, what is your idea of the perfect yugioh game?

Wow, my favorite game would have the following:


You control a walking character.
You can go to different parts of the world by either boat, car, plane, etc.
There would be a big tournament every once and a while.
It is an RPG.
It is updated with ALL cards, including tins and cards in an upcomming set.
There is a card shop (which means i dont want people to be able to put in codes for cards)
You could buy existing packs from real life in the game
you could buy singles from the shop and sell singles or multiples to others in the game
Every time you activate a card, it has it's own video for it's activation
you gain dueling experience and you level up as a duelist
Participate in world cups and gran championships
have money
different scenery
contests
battle scenes
updated graphics
somewhat of a story-line will suffice
you can buy card sleeves and deck boxes from the card shop
includes the seal of Oricalcos enemies, rare hunters, thieves, "bosses", etc.
difficulty level
structure decks can be bought from the shop
your choice at the beginning of the game of 3 structures
customized character
can be good or evilI think that about sums it up.

Umm....YES (Dont forget online play) when will this be out. This is everything that I would want in a Yu-Gi-Oh game. Why they never do the stuff that is right infront of them is beyond me.

Everything ChildoftheAtom mentioned (and online play, of course) is what I was thinking about when i began this thread. They should make the games more like this. Who knows why they don't.

It could be that the games dont have enough memory for all of the above OR they dont have enough money to make 10 million copies of this fantasy game.

ok if i had the perfect yugioh game it would be all of the above except that you don't control the player you are the player!!!! like after duelist kingdom when the went into the virtual world where they have mokaba in a dress. you could go into the game and duel that would be so cool it would cost loads though.

we seriously have the technology to create a game like that, or at least japan does... but how do you run? if you run forward like your inside the game, you'll hit your tv screen before you go 3 feet into the game...

actually, that one game where yugi and joey were trapped in with the gold coins and Mai being an arena gladiator with her harpies and they run into a sand-something. That would be a cool game... summon a monster and it walks along side with you... thatd be the day... kind of like yellow version in pokemon, but you could have more than one monster next to you.

What about a game like when the gang was stuck in Noah's virtual world? You chose a monster to be the leader or something like that. Having a virtual game like that where you are in the game would be awsome!

Here's the ultimate game :

-Online video game(X-Box, PS2, CPU all comapatable to play with each other)
-Huge world, one of each country where you roam around, take cruise ships and stuff to other continents. This would allow for duelist to duel with the metagame in their area of the world.
-A constinently updating card FAQ list and the cards in the game.
-Tournaments from the hit show will be held(Ex: Duelist Kingdom, you take a cruise ship there [will need to have a decently high rank] and duel the same. With stars).
-Duel Disks is a must. When you duel you see your cards in your hand being held by your hand to make the game look more like real life.
-Gender obviously.
-Basically the game would be a virtual simulator for if the world of Yu-Gi-Oh! was real.

If games like FF Tactics Advance and KH Chain of Memories have been made, why can't the ultimate Yu-Gi-Oh! game be created as well?

all a yugioh game is good for is a storyline unless it is online play (becuase you can make fun of peolpe and talk smack and it will affect egos). a good video game cant be made out of a actual game, that would be like playing vitural tag (which was a huge watse of money)

well as an answer to about runnig it's all done on thought so it's hooked up to your brain a you control it like that and it then creates a 3-d replica of you and you can chose a players clothes to wear and you play with your deck by putting it in this slot so thats it. you have to duel and win, save people and loads of stuff just like in pokemon and i surpose it would be cool to use deck masters as well.

You missed one important detail. It needs to be on a platform where they can expand on the game.

They could add card expansions new bosses new areas to explore new tournaments.

Ideally it would almost have to be a online game similar to WOW, Evercrack and Final Fantasy online.
