Muffin Man, I thought for sure you were erudite enough to have been familiarized withe the classic gedanken about the cat in the box. I'll leave it to someone not a dummy to explain it, since I"m a boy of very little brain.

The cat is both dead and alive, since we don't know for sure. The longer it stays in a box without food, the higher percentage of dead it will be, but until we look it will always be at least 1% alive.
Right?

damit.....i wanna know! lets just break open the box already!!! oh yeah...and i say that hes not 'both', but only that we can't determine which he is. because a cat can never be both dead and alive, but his fate may be indetermible. therefore, im not partaking in this poll, because none of the options are correct.....well, actually one is. either dead or alive. sonce theyre opposites its impossible not to be one or the other, but it is possible to be one and an outside entity (the ppl waiting outside the box) to not know which it is, though it definately is one.
theres my 2 cents......
