I think your deck is an odd version of Meandeck Tendrils. For reference here's a typical list of it:
Win Condition:
4 Tendrils of Agony
Land:
4 Land Grant
1 Bayou
1 Tropical Island
1 Polluted Delta
Rituals:
4 Dark Ritual
4 Cabal Ritual
Artifact Acceleration:
1 Mox Sapphire
1 Mox Pearl
1 Mox Ruby
1 Mox Jet
1 Mox Emerald
1 Sol Ring
1 Mana Crypt
1 Mana Vault
1 Black Lotus
1 Lotus Petal
1 Lion's Eye Diamond
Artifact Mana Fixing Cantrips:
4 Chromatic Sphere
4 Darkwater Egg
Tutors:
4 Spoils of the Vault
1 Demonic Tutor
1 Demonic Consultation
Blue Cantrips:
4 Brainstorms
4 Sleight of Hand
1 Ancestral Recall
Misc:
1 Chain of Vapor
1 Hurkyl's Recall
1 Yawgmoth's Will
4 Night's Whisper
I think the deck is a poor choice for a ten proxy metagame because:
1. The deck loses to Force of Will
2. The deck loses to Chalice/Sphere/Null Rod
3. All good decks plays either #1 or #2 or both
4. The deck is one of the most defficult decks to play especially against FoW decks.
If you want a easier and a better (right now) combo/ storm deck play TPS. There's a primer in the tournament forum about it I think. It's also rather easy to assemble in a ten proxy environment.
I hope it helped and good luck at SCG.

I don't understand the PROXY thing... lol. Build a deck you actually have the cards for eh?

With proxies you can test out decks you don't have cards for to see if they are worth getting. There's nothing worse than spending a couple hundred bucks on a deck that turns out to be a steaming pile.

He's proxying power 9 cards, they can never be bad... it's not as if you get power 9 and then say, oh ****, these didn't work out - now I'm stuck with these crappy cards :(

To figure out the full potential of the deck, you need to know how it works with all the best cards possible.
Many Type 1 tournaments also allow "x" amount of proxies.

I just think that's sad, I've played since '96 and just because people can't afford the high level cards or don't have them because they started late doesn't mean they should be allowed to just play proxies. People work hard, spending time and money to create a powerful deck with expensive, powerful cards, that nonsense takes away from the satisfaction of getting your last power 9 card, or all four of those mana drains, or juhzams. :(

No it doesn't, proxy tournaments ensure a fair, even playing field for all involved, which makes the game come down to skill and deckbuilding ability, not a game of salary vs. salary. For decks to advance and evolve the playing field must be as competitive as possible.

When I started playing Library of Alexandria was 15.00 and I bought it with my 5.00 a week allowance. It's not about salary vs. salary, it's about who has it and who doesn't. I bought these cards when I was 12 years old mowing lawns and emptying the dishwasher.
In 2000 I bought a lotus for 300.00 after saving for 2 months working at a crappy job. Now because it's worth more 12 year olds should get to proxy in thousands of dollars worth of proxies?
I disagree.

Well then you focus to much on the cards and not enough on the game.

The game is the cards, and to acquire strong cards it takes time and money - or good trading. If it cost me the money to get them, I expect everyone to have to undergo the same.

For the major sanctioned tournies you are not allowed any proxies. For the self-run tournies, you can allow any number of proxies you wish since you run the tournament. Also some people have the preference to proxy whenever possible to avoid theft. There is a limited amount of power and teenagers(well most teenagers, just simply cannot afford a $3500+ deck, but still wish to explore the format, so they made a 10 proxy rule to cover the 5 mox + lotus and other stuff)
On a sidenote-if you are in it for the competition and challenge then why not let people proxy?
If you are in it because you want to show off you own power and laugh at those who can't afford, then you really need to lighten up on the less fortunate.

A lot of the biggest T1 tourneys around allow proxies. Such as this event. This is not advertisement, I'm using it as an example from a past tournament.
MAIN EVENT - THE MANA DRAIN OPEN 6 (Waterbury)
$20 Entry Fee
Registration: 10:00 - 11:00 am
Tourney Starts at 11:00 am
Format - Type One with TEN proxies
1st Prize - UNLIMITED BLACK LOTUS, PLUS free admission and ROUND 1 BYE into
the next MANA DRAIN OPEN, PLUS entry into the bi-yearly Tournament of
Champions,
2nd Prize - BETA MOX JET
3rd Prize - UNLIMITED MOX RUBY
4th Prize - UNLIMITED MOX EMERALD
5th Prize - UNLIMITED MOX PEARL
6th Prize- UNLIMITED TIMETWISTER
7th Prize - LIBRARY OF ALEXANDRIA
8th Prize - LIBRARY OF ALEXANDRIA

So only people with power can win more power? Yea ok.

It's foolish to assume that people just have the money to go drops thousands on a set of power nine jc, some of us actually have rent and bills to pay.
I'm completely in support of proxy tournaments, they make it so that the people who aren't doctors/lawyers can play competive Type 1.

The problem is that you do not stand a chance in todays metagame if you don't have atleast 5 p9 cards and a suplement of atleast 4 duals and fetches plus some more rather expensive cards.
Two years ago you could actually win a tournament with a more red non powered deck. But this time has gone by.
Let's say that a teenager want's to be competetive he'll need to spend atleast 1500 $ to stand a chance at a tournament. I'd say that this is a lot of money for anyone who does'nt more than pocket money.
If people are'nt allowed proxies the format wil slowly wither into an elite group of guys who bought cards when they started out long ago and a group of much younger/newer people playing casual. That would be a shame.
