Yep, just in case no one read my sig....I was in Randolph on Saturday.
And just in case no one knows why...try to remember who lives there.
That's right--none other than Lee Tupper. And Stephanitis. And Albatross. Oh, and Lee's sister, TheBlackWidow.
So basically, I went to Randolph to go see Lee.
And I didn't think that the middle of nowhere could be this much fun...

The night before I set off, I was awake until 3:00 AM talking to/downloading a song from Stephanitis and woke up at 4:30....so yeah, I didn't get much sleep. What pissed me off was that the video camera memory card, which was supposed to come in that day("2-5 business days" my ***!), DIDN'T come in that day, but came in at noon on Saturday. *cue me pissed off for a few hours*
Then I packed up, and my dad and I drove to my friend Julian's house at 5:17. He came in, sat down and put his stuff in the back, and off we go.....for 8 agonizing hours.
Yep. Took us 8 hours to get there. Luckily we had our iPods to keep us busy. When we were somewhere around Endicott(or Salamanca, I can't remember), I decided to call Lee on my dad's cell phone. We talked for a bit, but I couldn't hear him too well, and then my bars completely disappeared. x_x But he told me when I was close by, so that I could be reassured. I also called Lee to force him to invite Steph. Because, as we know, I really really wanted to see Steph. We called Lee's house a second time later on when we were in Steamburg, to ask for directions.
And then when we were right on the path to Lee's house....we thought we were in the wrong place. (Well, my dad thought we were in the wrong place.) Then we backtracked and asked for directions, only to find out that we were on the right path. *cue us driving back through said path and slappage of selves* So, I immediately spotted Lee's place by one very, VERY stand-out landmark. To quote me....
"FISHY FISHY FISHY FISHY!!!"
I'm jumping up and down in my seat and pointing at that huge painted fish on the roof of his barn....Julian was laughing. XD We parked and stepped out of the car(my legs felt like gelatin from that 8 hour ride...) and meet Lee's dad. He tells us that Lee and everyone else left to go search for us so we kinda had to wait a few minutes for them. But when they did return...
Well, I was waiting outside, and then Lee came out of the car and then.....we ran towards each other and hugged for at least a minute. Even then I couldn't let go. Ah, it really was a joy to finally meet him. And then I hugged Randolph Steph, and then hugged Kevin. I think I tried to hug Mackenzie, but I don't think she let me. o_o *blink* Anyway, we went inside his house and talked for a bit in his kitchen, and then Steph took out the Reese's peanut butter cups.
I betcha no one knows exactly why. Well, a while ago, I shared a quote with Steph: "Friends are why Reese's peanut butter cups come in two." And then, the night before, she said she was gonna bring the Reese's cups, and well, she did. I took a pack and ate a cup, and gave the other one to Lee. I don't remember if Steph gave her other one to Kenzie or Julian, but I do remember that Kevin didn't want one. Eh, and then we talked some more in the kitchen.
Later we went outside to go walk along this long path that has forest/wood at either side of it...eh. It was fun, and we kept leaving the others behind. :p Sometimes Lee would carry me, and then sometimes I would run around in circles or act like an f'ing lunatic, or just really stoopid. *cue me speaking unintelligible gibberish* We saw his pond, and I finally got to see wildflowers.....yeah. *blink* Lee and I stopped to sit on this rock near the pond...(well, ok, Lee sat on the rock and I sat on Lee, but no one's arguing) and then Steph tried to take a pic. I got off Lee and started running...I kinda gave up once I knew that Steph and Kev and Julian were far away, but ummm....Lee and I were running side by side, when I came to a complete halt. He tried to come to a complete halt, but he skidded a few feet past me. I started to laugh. XD Meh, we saw a used-up firecracker later on, then I got to witness Lee's absolutely-pwning throwing power. o____o
Whoa. So when it was time to head back, I was randomly kicking rocks and sometimes Lee would join me, until we kicked the rock off the path, after which we'd find another rock to kick. Lee and I went into his living room to watch his sister and his mom play Scrabble. (Man, he is so good at Scrabble. >_<) And at one point, Mackenzie had these letters: B-U-D-S-Z-O-R, and I immediately thought "1337 speak". And amazingly, so did Lee, because he made a comment about it...he mentioned how it sounded like what Andurin would say if he wanted to insult someone's beer. Then, being the perfectionist I am, I rearranged some of the letters so that now it said "BUDZORS". XD Yeah...that was fun.
Garrr....after we all talked in the living room, swatting at flies--oh, that's another thing. HIS HOUSE WAS F'ING INFESTED WITH FLIIIIIIES.....UGH! x_x It was really annoying, and I, having had bad experiences with bugs(bedbug thing, and the fact that any insect bite of mine swells up to more than half its actual size...), kept overreacting when they buzzed in my ear or face. >_< But meh....
We walked outside to where we could see Lee's pond, and where these small green apples grew. Lee took one and threw it at the pond, then Kevin threw one, and then I decided to give it a shot. Yeah....let's just say my throwing's kinda iffy. But hey, mine went farther than Steph's. :p So anyway, then Lee went back into the house and came back outside with.....try to guess......that's right....
THE MUCHLY-COVETED, FAMED TENNIS RACQUET OF HIS!!! DUN DUN DUN!!!
So then Lee hit a few apples with the tennis racquet(VAST improvement in distance, BTW...), but several hit him thanks to Kenzie, and sometimes me. *guilty* Eh, then he gave it to me to hit apples a few times. XD He was actually impressed with how far I could hit the apples, but that's not as funny(or as bad in my case) as what happened next. I gave it to Kevin so that he could give it a swing, and then, I guess I didn't stand back far enough, because he took a swing and then....
WHAM!! Whacked me right in the arm, leaving this ugly bruise. It basically looked like an imprint of the racquet(the side, not the net thing....) that popped out. Ugh....my arm STILL hurts. Everyone checked if I was ok, but I wasn't too hurt or anything....my arm didn't hurt back there for some reason. Eh, we went back to hitting apples....until Mother Nature decided it was time for yet ANOTHER storm. We hit a few more apples, but then the downpour got worse and we were forced to come back in....
And then we went to go eat and stuff, at this buffet. Oh, while in the car, we decided to test out the magic powers of PICTOCHAT! That's right....I talked via Pictochat with Steph, who was in front of us in the other car. We kept losing the connection though...:( On the way there, I finally learned the secret of....
RU TUESDA!!!
It's basically "Ruby Tuesday" with the BY and Y lights broken, so that now it said "RU TUESDA". I've heard Lee mention it a few times on MSN before, but I had no idea what it was. But it was funny either way. :p So, like, when we got there, we ate and stuff. Nothing unusual. Oh, I found out that Lee's sis was a vegetarian, and that Lee doesn't think before he serves himself....XD Aaaaaaand I took more pictures....so did Steph.....I'll show you later. :p
On the way back I talked to Steph via Pictochat, but this time we were in the same car. Whee. Ah...then we passed by Ruby Tuesday and then Lee reflexively shouted out, "Ru Tuesda!"
Leander looks back only to find that the sign has been fixed. XD
And then....and then.....uhhh....oh yeah, Steph left us. :( But then we all played Trivial Pursuit! ^_^ We also got a nice helping of Mackenzie's laughable "stupidity". I kinda joined in later on, but stopped because it was getting boring. ^^ I actually got a question right, a question Lee had no idea as to what the answer was....*blink* Wow. But I was indeed honored to play alongside teh trivia master. His mad skillz0rz were teh absolute pwnage. :p
I think I'm gonna let Lee, Kev, and/or Steph take over from here. Y'know, just so that you guys could see the whole day through each of our eyes. ^^
