I'd like to talk to you all about Dragonball and DBZ. favorit characters and other stuff.

My favorit charecter is Vegeta becouse he's always cool and only angry when Kakarot - Songoku is somehow involved.

Yeah, it's the books i mean. To those who haven't read the books, i can tell you this. The books are alot better than the tv series. They who make tv series out of books rarely know how to do it right. Let me tell you all. If you want more from Dragonball or Dragonball Z, READ THE BOOKS.

It would be completely IMPOSSIBLE for me to get any enjoyment whatsoever from READING dbz lol... I *must* watch it to enjoy it :)

What if you miss something important? In books you can just read again. I've read the full collection ( book 1-42 ) four times, and i still love it. I'm trying to get the DBZ books. ( The original books are just DB )

I'm a huge fan of DBZ. If I am watching it on tv...I dont ever miss a 1 second of it.

If your a real fan, then you'd collect the books. Even if it's just to have them. I have all book from Dragonball ( almost all DBZ ) but where i livem they don't sell the DBGT books. I also have two DBZ-DVD's.

Oh, i forhot to say one thing. Many things that happen in the tv-series (anime) aren't in the books. They are made up. I can say one example. Gohan vs. Cell, final attack : You think Gohan realy has that much power? He fires a Kamehameha which has as much power as Goku's Kamehameha while he's in super saiyan 4. This makes the tv-series look bad. And the charecters aren't made as well as in the books. The list goes on and on.

Well I'm a cowboy bebop fan, and I bought a few manga books of it. I must say reading anime sucks. Watching it is so much better. Read is just...nothing I mean the pictures dont move, there are no sounds. I mean not that I'd expect books to have sounds and all that, I'm just explaining the advantages of TV over books.

then you have no imagination. use your fantasy. Plus, as said, the quality in the pictures in the books iis way better then on tv.

Ehh, I disagree. Having an imagination is overrated :) Why work at having one when TV can provide all the picutres for you?

Well I think thats because you saw how good TV can be and how much better the imagination of millions of other people entertain you more than your own :)

You are right about that! Although I don't know about tv taking your imagination away unless you are talking about creativity. That I do suffer from. When it comes to reading though, my imagination is still great in forming pictures of monsters and all that.

As for DBZ, I'd rather watch the series than read about it! DBZ is too fast-paced to read about.

I've read somewhere ( reliable ) that there is a book form where pictures taken from the episodes are copied into it to a book form.
