what shinies have you found/seen/caught?(EXEPT GYARADOS!!)

I've seen a shining marril in R/S!..It was PINK!!!!
I found it at the bridge where you get TM Roar.

I also saw shining Rattata in GSC(Forgot the colour..-_-)i found it at sprout tower!!

I caught a Shiny Spinda in saphire (green!) and a shiny Oddish in Saphire. (it looked like it was dying in the way that plants do in the fall)

I've hatched a shiny Feebas in Ruby (now Milotic) and caught a shiny Geodude at Mt. Moon in LeafGreen. I'd only been playing a few hours when I met the Geodude so I was pretty much ecstatic :D

Oh, and not that I really count it anymore, but I caught a shiny Rattata in Silver (now Raticate).

In gold: spinarak in front of 3rd town (now ariados), venonat in bug-catching place (now venomoth), seen ratatta in union cave and nidoran (forgot the gender) in front of bug-catching place. Oh, and gyarados.

After playing Gold, Silver, Ruby, and FireRed for probably around a combined 500+ hours, I have never, ever encountered a shiny Pokemon besides the Red Gyarados. Boy, do I have horrible luck or what?

In my gold version my cousin killed a shiny Bellsprout and in silver I tried to catch a shiny Hoothoot but my PC was full.

In ruby I found a shiny Zigzagoon (who is now a Linoon and is stuck in my collosium). In sappire I found a shiny Marril, Wurmple, Wingull and Skarmory.

The only Shiny I've caught was a Zubat on Gold (now a Crobat on my Crystal... God, it's been years since I've played either of them... =/).

I got a shiny Claydol. I had about 66 ultra balls that I got incase I met a shiny. Claydol didn't stand a chance of getting away. It has gold eyes instead of copper.

Y'know, I can't stand shiny Crobat... It's pink. Camerupt is much better, and I was inspired to put it in my squad. And non-shiny Camerupts too!

I'd take it off your hands in a heart beat! Then I'd evolve it straight up to Salamence, too. Why anyone would leave a shiny unevolved is beyond me :D

The shinies I really want are Flygon, Zangoose (love the blue on 'em), and Charizard (black Charizard? Heck yeah!). I doubt I'll ever get that lucky, though, so I try not to think about it too much :p

I don't much like shiny Flygon myself... The colours are..... iffy. In my opinion anyway. I made a black and white Zangoose once (black where it should be white and white where it should be orange). I wish that was a shiny.

Shiny Sneasel scares me though. It's purpley pink. Why in hecks name is it purpley pink? 'Tis ugly. Shiny Umbreon's cool though, and a few other shiny Eeveelutions.

Another Shiny that I want is Shiny Gardevoir. It's blue. Blue = best colour ever. And Shiny Sceptile.

I have seen 6 shinies, and own 5 (Grrrr....stupid redish Makuhita, and stupid Whirlwind!)

I have a shiny Altaria from the Sky tower (or is it pillar?) couple the odds of finding a shiny with the odds of meeting an Altaria in the Sky tower on Ruby and you can see I was amazingly lucky. I also caught a shiny Nincada so when I get round to evolving it 2 shinies for the price of one! booya.

Shiny Plusle & Minun just have the red and blue a shade darker... without a normal Plusle on the screen to compare directly, I'm not sure how I'd tell. And you'd need razor-sharp eyes to spot the difference between a shiny Togepi and a normal one. Fortunately (?), they don't appear in the wild...

Not sure if you know this or not, but when a different colored Pokemon first enters battle the screen darkens and sparkles surround them. Hard to miss if your sound is on and you're paying attention. By some chance you do miss the sparkles, though, always catch anything that seems 'off' to you (it might not be obvious, but something will probably strike you as odd - happened to me when I hatched my shiny Feebas).

Ah, right... I've probably never seen a shiny, then, unless it was way back at the beginning. Bah :(.

If I'm going to be scientific about this, I should dig out my old statistics notes to figure out when I can start expecting to find one, based on the probability. I can work out expectation for simple things (like a move with 5 PP and 70% probability of success), I can't work it out for a probability like 1/8192 and such a highly skewed distribution. Probably have to do something special... OK, I'll get back to you on this when I remember how to do it :p.

If I'm going to throw maths out the window, I'd say I'm probably still paying back luck for the fact I caught Kyogre with the second ball I threw (a normal PokeBall!). Hmmm...

I caught a shiny Sentret on route 1 in Gold. I don't remember the colour. It was near some trees, close to the end of the route.

Shiny pokemon (excluding gyrados is G/S) are 100% random you can find them anywhere so it doesn't matter where other people found them theres very little chance you'd find one in the exact same spot. I remember when G/S first came out anyone that found a shiny pokemon would tell everyone where they found it and the people they told would spend hours searching........pretty funny actually.

I found a shiny misdreavus in LG a lil while ago, i got very annoyed, it broke out of 22 ultra balls and 7 great balls, i got so annoyed i turned my game off, then realised that it was a stupid thing to do, aparently its 1% chance of finding a misdreavus there, add that to the odds of finding a shiny... damn, i shoulda used my master ball!!!

I have seen 2 shinies one in silver a red tentacrule. I ran out of pokeballs so I couldn't cath him!!!!!! I do have a purple slowbro from crystal. I found him as a slowpoke in jhoto falls ;) he has become lighter as he has increased his experience though
