_________*
Dueling void is an attempt to write a story (with everyone help) about TWO dueling wizards. This story, which narrates the way the battle unleashes, must be AT LEAST loosely based on a game of magic the gathering, with all spells and actions being justified with actual cards and actions you can play.

THE RULES:
1) After the initial 2 planeswalkers, you will not introduce new characters, but narrate the actions of the dueling planeswalkers.
2) When you post the continuation of the story, it must be in bold face, so that you can scan through the posts and follow it without difficulty.
3) After writing your part of the story, write a short paragraph justifying your actions. (If you had Deku keeper of secrets counter Pizzatogs spell, at the end of your story write down that Deku used a counterspell)
4) All restricted and banned cards in any format are banned here.
5) Keep within character!.... If Antara the legendary planeswalker has played nothing but white until now, you are not allowed to make him play Necrologia, or counter a spell. Use your common sense.
6) Do not do imposible things. Keep within the limit of the mana at your disposal, and the possible number of cards in your hand (I, mean after a while, one of the wizards wont be able to think of what to do if he hasnt used card drawing spells)
7) Please try to make this fun for everyone, and contribute to make a cool story.
8) Eventually, someone may end the battle. Just try and follow what would happen naturally in the story. Pizzatog cant just all of a sudden at 1 life play black lotus, 4 dark rituals, 4 lotus petals and a 4 lightning bolts and win the game. PLEAASE!

SUGGESTIONS:
-Dont have more than 2 or more cards or actions in each post. If you want to write a long segment, give life to your characters with spells, details and memories.
-Dont make this dull, use your imagination, describe everything.
-I know many people here enjoy reading and writing fantasy fiction, so I know you will all have creative ideas.
-You can have comebacks from behind, and stuff like that, but justifiy it with writing and magic cards.
-You dont have to get all anal and explain step by step what happens (as in play forest, tap forest, play mox, tap mox, etc, etc, etc.) just use your common sense and have fun.
-Try to look at this, not so much as a magic game, but as a story loosely based on a magic game. This is about 2 wizards fighting a fight to the death.
-Translate life loss in physical terms. (If Devils little brother, or Radivel the mighty is at one life, you cant having standing there looking all healthy.)

Okay then, I'll go first.

There is a plane somewhere in Dominia that starts out barren and ends up depending on how the events on its soil played out. Sometimes it ends up filled with verdant forests, sometimes filled to the brim with seas. No matter how it ends up, it is cleared clean over time, probably by some unknown force or part of the plane's biosystem. This is the Dueling Void, the battlefield of the greats.

The Dueling Void's silence is shattered when there is a small fire kindled in the center of it. That small fire grows and grows until there is a burning circle in the sky, seemingly burning through space itself. The circle turns into black ashes, from where a young man clad in a sweeping crimson cape and a black outfit walks out.

This is Flip. Not a suitable name for a serious mage such as him, we must admit, but nonetheless there is nothing that can be done about it. With a casual wave of his hand the burning ashes have been restored to what they were before.

After Flip had arrived, there was a great thunderstorm. A large lightning bolt had struck the ground before Flip. Flip reasoned that the lightning bolt's target was calculated because it could have easily hit him instead of the ground. While he was thinking the spot the bolt hit sprouted a sphere of electricity. Flip was right; it was no ordinary bolt. The sphere moved far away from him and silently exploded. Out of the flash, his opponent came out.

This is the Dueling Void, so we must duel, Flip thought to himself. Very well. I shall take the initiative.

Flip waved his hand again, but this time it glowed and pulsated red. He then traced the ground with the fingers of his glowing hand in a huge semicircle, with his hand leaving trails of red. He stepped away, and raised his hands. The ground slightly quaked and the ground before him stood and took shape. Soon, it had formed into a Mountain. He also pulled out from his pocket an amulet of what seems to be hardened quicksilver from the plane of Mirrodin. He held the amulet to his forehead, and it glowed red as well. He waved his hand holding the amulet over the Mountain, and Flip siphoned red light from it.

Closing his eyes, he shot out his other hand and red energy blasted from it into the space before him. A small, grotesque, green-gray creature came into shape, ready for battle. Fight, Flip silently commanded from within his mind. The creature charged to Flip's opponent and took a small swipe. When it had returned to Flip's side, he noticed that it grew bigger. Then, Flip waited.

The summoning of the little white spirit presented Flip with a dilemma. Were he to burn the little spirit down with his fire magic or were he to attack with his little fighter, his opponent would easily utilize the spirit to neutralize all his efforts. Nevertheless, the fight must go on.

Flip raised another Mountain out of the ground with the same process. He siphoned all red energy from the Mountain and his amulet, and outstretched his arms above his head.

The sky opened and glowed crimson red, and a searing rain of hot, burning, molten lava fell upon the verdant field his opponent stood on. During the aftermath, Flip only looked on with a grim face, wondering if he should spare his opponent for a while.

Damned kitsune, Flip thought. Just after his opponent had made his move, Flip raised his hand and snapped his fingers. Fire ignited from the snap, then took a bit of shape. He shot out his hand and from it, a stream of hot magma burst and hit the fox cleric his opponent had summoned. It went down in a hot flame.

His mind then was rearranging his thoughts.

He summoned another mountain range. Then, he spoke.

"How could I have been so discourteous?" he said. "I am the red mage Flip. What name do you go by, my skilled opponent?"

At end of opponent's turn, Magma Jet targeting Eight-and-a-Half Tails.
