http://http://www.serebii.net/pokemon_advance/personality.shtmlThere's Serebii's page on what natures do. the boosts and decreases are all by 10%. on a low stat, such as Blissey's attack, the increase is barely noticable. on a large stat, such as Regirock's Defense, it is alot, like 40 bonus.
and in Emerald, if have one of the 2 pokemon you are breeding hold an everstone, there's a (I think) 50% chance of the nature being passed down.
the I think is becuase I'm not exactly sure of the % chance, but it's ALOT more than the normal 4% of any nature.
yea i know what natures do, im no noob 8). I just wanted to know the whole nature passing easily thing. Thatll be cool if its 50, i could seriously train some amazing pokes by getting like 10 of them to level 50 and comparing stats. cheers.

I actually got a PM from someone asking the same thing about the personality-passer-parents as I call them.
Warbler was correct but i'll just confirm it anyway. In Emerald, when there are 2 pokemon in the day care to breed, if you give an Everstone to the female (or ditto), there is a 50% chance that the eggs will inherit that personality. E.g. If you have an Adamant Machop (F) with another machop (M) and the (F) has an Everstone attached then the eggs, when hatched, will have a 50% chance of being Adamant too. It's a great way to speed up breeding to get the right personality and has helped me (and many others too) dramatically.
There is also another added feature is eggs. If you have a pokemon with either Flame Body or Magma Armour in your party while you are hatching eggs, the number of steps to hatch the egg/s is Halved. This also speeds up breeding but you need to sacrifice that extra slot in your party for a slugma or something.
Nintendo really didnt tell anyone about this and it was only luck that people found out and posted it on sites. Serebii gives more info about what i said above in their Emerald section, in the sub-section "Additional Breeding".

About the Flame Body/Magma Armor...you have to have 1 pokemon, right? Just make that one Pokemon Slugma, then carry around 5 eggs while going left and right on a path that goes through Mauville (I call it Hatching Road. It's 97 steps of clear path you can ride your Mach Bike on to hatch eggs faster), so it'll take like a minute to hatch an egg, providing it's a low step hatch Pokemon. Very nice.

Yep, you're right. I have a slugma too and it really does cut the time quite a lot. Usually those 9800 steps to hatch an Eevee is no more and it takes just as long as a normal pokemon...

I know this is an old comment and doesn't directly connect to the topic, but Nintendo did tell people about the extras - in their players guide. It's all in there, including a lot of the tables and Battle Frontier info Serebii has. I wonder where he got it from, eh? ^^
Some of the info in the guide didn't match Serebii's info, tho, nor did Serebii's match PokeForever's (which as we all know was the most accurate info you could get). Sadly, now that Pokemon Forever's gone we can't even compare them anymore :(

I didnt know Nintendo had a player guide... I always used to get the Prima guides (yes the Prima guides) and even though they make many stupid mistakes the guides are easy to read and set out great. What im getting to is that they mentioned NOTHING about additional breeding effects and other little things like that. They did do a reasonably good guide to Battle Frontier in the Emerald book which i have used a little bit but anyone here could write a more detailed article.

The English Nintendo guides I get may be strictly North America. I'm not really sure. All I know is that they're put out by Nintendo Power and pretty much contain everything a player needs without going into indepth game mechanics. They also dumb-down ability descriptions and such like FlashFire (ie. tell you it boosts Fire attacks yet not by how much). Still a pretty good buy though, if you don't feel like going online every time you want to look at moveset charts, attack descriptions, etc.
As for Pokemon Forever, go look at the site for yourself. Meowth was taking a "big step" forward for this summer and realized he wouldn't be able to run it anymore. So... He killed it minus the PokeDex :(
Sorry that this is getting way off topic...
