Daily Discussion - CHK Block Pick Orders

So we have a brand new set rotated into draft, and it jumps into a relatively set format where we already had a good understanding of pick orders.

Do those established pick orders from Champions and Betrayers change now that we're picking from a pack of Saviors as well? Sometimes the new cards can change the way you draft from the first two packs.

Has that happened here? What colors and picks from Champions and Betrayers change the most dramatically because of the new cards from Saviors?

There are 4 really really good black and red removal spells in Saviors... but I think the deepest Saviors color is white. Meaning that if you are black and/or red, you need to pick the good creature over the mediocre removal spell in champions and betrayers, and if you are white/x, you can focus a little more on your x color and you know there will be playable white cards in the last pack. This isn't a dramatic change and the first picks in CHK and BOK are still first picks, I think the adition of saviors only affects later picks.

hmm some nice thingys with saviors are tha white fliers just to many of them loreweaver is owning like it never done anything else in its life, moonwing moth is damm strong won me a couple of drafts

If I'm in B/W, I find myself drafting Tallowisp alot higher in Betrayers. I think draft as many Kagemaro's Clutches as I can get my hands on.

Hear, hear. Been to 2 FNM's, drafted B/U both times, got lucky the second time. Scored Kyoki and Ink-Eyes! Go :b:!!! Shimmering Glasskites are strong for blue.

In Saviors Red changed a lot.

I just won a draft last night with a B/U deck with Yukora and Kira and jetting glasskite and such.
