CBS Exercise: Pack #1, Pick #9

I'm leaving on Saturday for about three weeks. We'll do pick 9, then resume when I get back. I'll give you 24 hours. Vote and discuss.

Deathcurse Ogre all the waaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!

Okay, obviously I'm joking with that one. Having the Wicked Akuba passed back to us really makes this easy. So, it's pretty much the choice for this deck at this point. But, what makes this really interesting is what was picked out of this pack, since this is the one we opened. For example, let's see what was actually taken:

Order of the Sacred Bell: An easy pick to make here.
Rend Spirit: Another easy pick to make.
Mystic Restraints: Yet another easy pick to make.
Soratami Mirror-Guard: An easy pick to make.
Reciprocate: A harder pick to make, and may have went after the above.
Gifts Ungiven: Rare drafted probably.
???: Not sure what this was, but it must have been a weaker card that was better than the Akuba to someone.

I'm not sure that we can necessarily really get a feel for exactly what's being taken as of yet, but it is important to note that these cards were taken. As we get the next couple of packs back, we should be able to do a better analysis. But, I want to note these cards were taken and we might want to remember that for our next decisions.

Wicked Akuba is a really nice 9th pick, glad it made it back around. I managed to sneak in nine points of damage with him at the Champions pre-release before my opponent realized what his ability could do.
None of the rest of the cards make the cut for me.
Ogre is a 3/3 for 6 - nah (maybe really late pick)
Time of Need could be good but we don't have any legends yet and may well wind up without any.
I think this one is an easy pick.

Obviously this pick is a slam dunk, and it is exactly what I hoped would happen with our initial pack.

Okay. This is futile. Two hours into the poll, it's closed. Here's the analysis:

Get rid of Ritual, Ogre, Thoughtbind, Riftwalker, Zubera and Time of Need on account of comparitive suckiness. Then pick any of the remaining cards. It takes 8 seconds or less of thought to figure out the right pick here.
