Went to a library tournament of over 40 people, and ended up winning a Mirrodin Besieged booster box once it comes out, and a binder with 2nd place, losing to UW Control. This list has proven me very effective, and I'm only posting this list because I'm done with it.

Just like any of my other lists, I build them on my own, and only build the sideboard according to the current metagame. UW Control was the hardest match up for me, and therefore I rightfully lost, although it was partially my fault still.

Oh yeah, and, I'm back.

4 Vengevine
4 Memnite
3 Ornithopter
4 Goblin Guide
4 Fauna Shaman
4 Trinket Mage
4 Birds of Paradise
4 Goblin Bushwhacker

1 Mox Opal
4 Kuldotha Rebirth
4 Preordain

20 Lands

Sideboard:
4 Dispel -- removal
4 Lightning Bolt -- vampire's mainly
2 Spellpierce -- DOJ
3 Mana Leak -- when you need more counters, but not against removal
2 Foresee -- against control

3 Orni, 1 Opal as opposed to 4 Opal: Orni allows feeding for Fauna when you need it. I can search for opal with mage as well.

Preordain, Birds, Guide: Allow you for a start so that you don't have to mulligan as much.

I won't be posting the mana base because if anyone chooses to netdeck it, I hope they atleast put the time into making a decent mana base.

Well, we sure know that Scalding Tarn and Misty Rainforest are good lands for this deck... ;)

Raging Ravine are also neat!

I'm going to go ahead and say that Raging Ravine won me two games where I just wouldn't get any Spell Pierce or Dispel, but my opponent had cleared the board, and had already spent mostly everything to get the board advantage.

This deck looks super fun and rather explosive. There's a lot that this deck can do in the first few turns and it seems like it would be extremely consistent. The SB seems a little counter heavy, is there really a need for that many counters?

Thanks,
theres not really a need for that much removal, but just it's a precaution to make sure that decks like ub control and uw control, with doj and Consume the Meek and Ratchet Bomb don't dominate the board, and to save your Fauna Shaman from death. I'm sure having no mana leaks in the sideboard would be fine, but I just wanted to make sure, so if at ur fnm theres a deck that is often played and u want to sideboard against THAT, then you probably should.
