Mono Blue Eldrazi

I have been testing this deck for a few days now, and I kind of like it- but it has a real tough time against Lotus Cobra(good thing Lotus Cobra is in only 90% of decks). Needless to say, it's fun and I would like any suggestions.

You scoop to Ratchet Bomb. Clasp is cute but dont over rely on Chalice. You control and ramp slowly.

Also, there is no reason to run Cancel over Stoic. Not even the existence of Memoricide can justify it.

Where is the Jace???? Turn 3 Jace wins more game then a hard cast Eldrazi. The negative synergy with AiD is not the justification. See it in this way - Jace helps you dig AiD.

I did not initially run clasp, it's synergy with Chalice is just an advantage tacked on to it's real cause- dealing with Lotus Cobra.

I run the Cancel as more of a mind game with my opponents, I understand that Stoic Rebuttal is strictly better- especially in a deck with a strong possibility of metalcraft. If they look at my graveyard and see a Mana Leak, a Stoic Rebuttal, a Deprive, and a Cancel, the thought goes through their head "Is he running 16 counterspells?" Plus my Cancel is Japanese and awesomesauce.

So Jace is just too good to pass up. I thought that would be the general idea, and thoughts on how to make room for said Jace?

check out the r/w eldrazi that won a magic-league trial last week or so. I have been playing it and am gonna play it this weekend at richmond allthough with a couple tweaks.

I have been thinking of putting in blue for trinket and JTMS but the mana will be a beyatch if I do. Still thinkin about it.

Try to go to 2 kozilek or 2 ulamog or even 2 emakrul. That is what I keep feeling when I play it. The wurmcoils are nice but, Frost may be even better here.

I also agree...the worst matchup for this deck is ramp especially with cobras. I hate them things. With the red I have been tuning my version towards some LD to deal with the abundance of valakut and tar pits. Three maindeck ruinblasters with at least one Lavaball Trap out of side and still thinking of adding Tunnel Ignus also. One other issue obviously is these versions (non green) dont take advantage of Summoning Trap. So mirror (green versions) needs a way to deal with a stuck koz/ula/emra.

Take out the Chimeric Mass as its better with proliferate and mainly against u/x control. You may look into running a copy or two of Lux Cannon and put the voltaic in place of the mass.

I agree that the Chimeric Mass needs to be looked at more, I rarely find a situation in which Chimeric Mass is useful. I do run Contagion Clasp to proliferate, so it can be useful if it gets to a late game situation. I have thought about Voltaic Key a few times, but I have yet to test it out. With the Chalices it might be a fantastic card.

I do, however, disagree with Lux Cannon. I think Lux Cannon works best in proliferate decks, the same reason you suggest the removal of Chimeric Mass. The only reason I run removal is really to deal with Lotus Cobra- anything else later on can be countered.
