OK, Piloswine/Machamp. Let's work with this...
Pokemon (20):
4 Machop
2 Machoke
4 Machamp
3 Swinub
3 PIloswine
4 Cleffa
Trainers (22):
3 Oak
3 Comp Search
3 Item Finder
3 Copycat
4 Gold Berry
2 Focus Band
4 (Super) Energy Removal
Energy (18):
3 DCE
15 Fighting
Keep in mind that this deck is VERY weak to ER and any sort of speed deck. Enjoy this!

I really thank you, but I dont have any Cleffa, Comp. Search, Copycat, Gold Berry, Focus Band....
And I cant obtain any of these... also I cant obtain another Machamp...
Thats why its so difficult for me to make a good a deck (I am not playing tournaments, I just play with many friends, but still win me sometimes XD)
And thats why I am asking for help, PLEASE tell me a good strategy for the deck, or somthing good to put in, cause I cant obtains Cleffas!
Is Tyrogue good for the deck? (without focus band) Or maybe Elekid??
And wath is ER that you've said?

Energy Removal. Tyrogue would probably work, but you'd lost a heckuva lot of speed. Try your best to get a build similar to what I put up, as that's probably the best build possible for this deck, but do what you can.

Thanks, I'll try...
But why would I lost speed with Tyrogue??
How can Tyrogue help me??
And whats better (and why)?? 2 or 3 tyrogues or hitmonchan, brocks onix or hitmontop...

Tyrogue is better, but you will lose speed compared to Cleffa. Tyrogue is the 2nd best opener in Unlimited today, next to Cleffa. Cleffa is always the ultimate opener, no matter what.

I start to understand, but you dont answer my questions :(
First of all, I am happy to hear that putting Tyrogues will be ok...
But I really want to understand why putting Tyrogues is better than another pokemon like hitmonchan or brocks onix...
Please answer to my specific questions so that I'd understand how to make my deck better myself...
Thanks...

Tyrogue is a first turn 30, plus is a defender, while Chan is only 20 and no defending, and Brock's Onix is trash.

THANKS!
So the new build of pokemon goes like this:
Pokemon (20)
Machamp (base set) x3
Machoke (base set) x2
Machop (base set) x4
Piloswine (neo revelation) x3
Swinub (neo revelation) x4
Tyrogue (neo discovery) x4
Is it right??
And for the trainers I am trying to get more profesor oak and elm cuase I cant get copycat....
And for Tyrogue, Is it better an atack that can do 30 if heads than the 20 of Hitmonchan?

yes, because it can OHKO a Baby when needed. Also, the Baby protection it gets is always worth something.

Thanks...
What can I do with Piloswine?
If I put 4 Switch will it be better? cause I cant attack again the next turn... Tell me if it would be ok...
And maybe Dugtrio (base set) or Golem (fossil) are better???
Please answer all my question XD, I am trying to build my deck as good as I can so I need good answers...

I've always liked Dugtrio, and wondered why it was never really made into a big deck. 4 energy is a little bit steep, but it's probably the best 4 energy Fighting type S1 attacker that I can find. Go with that.
I don't like Switch that much, especially in a deck dealing with retreats of less than 2. Don't use it unless you have high retreats constantly.

So what about this?
Pokemon (20)
3 Machamp
2 Machoke
4 Machop
3 Dugtrio (can I do something with his low HP?)
4 Diglett
4 Tyrogue
The first thing I think about when I put Dugtrio is that with Piloswine I can get it in 3 turns with the DCE and dugtrio needs 4 fighting...
And maybe putting some berry or potion or moo moo milk will work with the bench and dugtrio??
Think about it...

Gold Berry and Focus Band are the only sources of healing necessary in UNL.

I cant get them, as I told you...
Now I'll try to get some comp. search, but I dont think I would.
And I was thinking about 3-4 gust of wind... It helps in most cases... What about them??

always a help, but 3 is about the most you should play of them IMO.
Jon_7
06-15-2005, 09:17 PM
What is IMO? XD
I have one Doble Gust, so I thought about putting 2 Gust of Wind and 1 Doble Gust...
And what about putting Plus Power??

In this deck, DG is worthless, as you have high retreats and high attack costs all over the place. GOW is always worth the spots tho.
