Woohoo! Summer! (Or winter for you folks down south) *cheers follow* Well, as you may have noticed, it is June, and schools are starting to go out for that wonderful break... Unless... uhh... you're school sucks... more than usual...
Anyway, here's the discussion for this glorious occasion. So, anyone doing anything exciting? Or are you gonna be one of the cool kids and sit at home in front of the computer all day not doing anything else...
Me? I'm going off to a 'summer program' at Amherst college where I get to do learning related things... whoops, shouldn't've said that... now the stalkers are going to come *shrug*... :p But, on the plus side, I'm away from my parental units for a bit of time...
Yes, ellipses are fun.(..)

I'm headed for Sewanee, Tennessee,
For writing camp's in store for me.
Yes. Unfortunately, I will be focusing on prose and not poetry, so I'm afraid I'll never have any better rhymes than that. Sorry.
Acting camp later on as well -- I'm looking forward to both.

Yep, It's summer, but in the whole of Europe it seems like autumn! It keeps raining! But hey, I actually like rain and cold more than 45 degrees, so it's actually not me yelling: "Bloody rain!". I'm going to jump around in that storm outside now. So you later. Wheeee...

Soccer, fixing up the spoilers for Story Weaver so that I can start looking for a publisher, writing a private RP with Stephanitis and her sister, mowing dozens of acres of lawn every week. (My family owns several houses, and I have to mow each one's lawn. And we aren't talking tame, suburbs lawns. We're talking things that are best suited for dirtbiking on.)

Well... I broke up for "summer" about 3 weeks ago... I put summer in "" because im actually doing exams as of about 3 weeks ago... woo GCSEs.. fortunately, as of next thursday I am completely free of them... all I have is a morning where I hand in my books... and 2 days of 6th form induction... Oh and spending half the summer biting my nails about my exam results... Anyhoo, this summer its all about training and working for me... Im fixing up the house (for a price obviously) and going out to get a job at some point... woot...

Or are you gonna be one of the cool kids and sit at home in front of the computer all day not doing anything else...
That's how I've spent the first month of my break :D
Well, I watched DVDs and played games, too. I've hung out with friends a few times but they're all too bloody busy with work and boyfriends ;p
For the rest of my break I'm hoping to get a job. If all goes well I'll quit it early and spend my last two weeks of summer visiting a friend in Ontario. There's an Anime/Sci Fi Con around that time every year so hopefully we can go to it again.
Aside from that, nothing else planned. There's a big three-day Canada Day celebration coming up but my only access to it is staying downtown with a friend, and she has yet to invite me :P

Keep telling yourself that. It's DAMNED hot over here right now. While you sit in the demonic heated car system thingy, I'll be enjoying a nice, cold strawberry milkshake, or else be struggling through The Rime Of The Ancient Mariner.
Or something.

And I'll be busy hanging my head out of Nem's car on a busy motorway attempting not to have it lopped off by a passing lorry all in the name of entertainment.

Curse you, making me suffer the stupid Rime.... *Bangs head on wall*
On a different note, after Summer and just into Autumn, I'm going to Florida for two weeks, missing a week of school where I get to sit around evaporating...

Hey so it wouldn't another six months before I posted here again.
So far this summer has started off kinda crappy. It rained every day two weeks ago, afterward there was a cold snap that made you want to turn on the heater. In Georgia we keep having high temperatures in the morning and afternoon thunderstorms. But it's getting better I'm getting my first job this summer to save up for a trip to New York next school year. I'm not planning on leaving the state but it's allright. I'm going to have fun anyway.

Let's see, how many weeks until I get to go on holiday earlier than everyone else due to the French Exchange... What do you mean 5 weeks?!?!?! Ah, man...
Anywho, 16th July I go to France, and sometime after that to Turkey, making the total number of continents I've visited three. ^_^ Meanwhile, I've got tons of coursework, no exams (YAY!) and running around school like a crazed lunatic... Not that I don't already. 5 weeks? I envy you Americans!

I've been spending a lot of times with my friends, Pizza Hut and swimming and stuff. And a lot of bowling every weekend. And working. And volunteering at the hospital. And waterskiing and stuff. And we start marching band camp at the end of this month. Oh no.

well this summer is going to be a bit busy for me. I'm getting a summer job that starts you out (under the table) at $8 an hour, but to be on the safe side I am going with minimum wage. I'm going to buy a notebook comp and wireless internet so I can use it! Yay! Oh also I am going to the DDR with Steph and doing standard (I'm taking you down STEPH!1!)

I'll be out all day until late in the morning with my friends, like I usually do on summer holidays. Also, I'll be going to many parties and stuff like that. Then, I will be going with my friends to Greece(my favorite holiday destination). There, we will be getting drunk quite often and there is no telling what we will do.
Or maybe I'll just stay in my house for most of the summer holiday, not doing anything. I don't know, I'll see...

Lucky people.
My summer's gonna suck. Not like last year.
My summers usually always suck, except for when I go somewhere.
Soccer's basically all I have to look forward to.
Not to mention I don't get out until the 28th or so. It's a figurative HELL over here where I live. We had to go to school in that heat with no working AC for four days straight. Like being trapped in an oven, it was. 12 people or so passed out, and they were rushed to the hospital. We even made the (Spanish) news.
Oh my. o.o;
Anyway, bottom line is my summer's gonna suck to no end.

In the hope of one day understanding my video games, I'm going to do an intensive Japanese course.
I just don't know where yet. Got to ring all the university summer schools and find out. Hoping I can find one closer than central London, or if I do have to go into London, that it's afternoons only :D. So not a morning person...

Muh. It's officially summer now. I'm out for the year, and I don't think I'll even be going to soccer. =/ However, we'll just be going to the pool and beach 'n crap, sometimes with my friend. Mehhhhhhhh.
Oh, and I'll be playing with my new DS and snapping away with my new digital camera. ^_^

For the rest of my break I'm hoping to get a job.
Acomplished that part of the plan at least. I am now a muffin/cinnamin roll/etc. baker at the local bakery in town ^^
But DAMN... Making cinnamin rolls is back-breaking x.O
I've worked everything out and if my future paychecks are as good as my last one I should have enough money saved up to quit my job by August 15th and head down for the rest of the summer to my friend's in Ontario. It kinda depends on how much money I spend in the meantime, tho. Getting a University loan around here requires you to pay at least $1700 towards your fees, and that's not counting books and food.

GRARRR! To do driver's ed., I must wake up at six every morning, and then go into town. Then drive around and do DRIVER'S ED. HOMEWORK. Yeah, it's like having to go to school, except I need to wake up even earlier. I must remind myself that it will save me insurance costs. Who knows? Maybe I'll be able to drive out and visit Steph this August.

Heh, oh well. Still not Summer here yet, but only a week of school left! Plus, 2 days 'til Nem and Gary get down here! *dances like Linky's pikachu thing* The heat wave's just about to reach us AGAIN (for about the 5th time since my bday ^_^) and temperatures are already topping my thermometer. Well, not really, but it feels like they should be. Anyway, off to practice my french...
