There are no rules. Anywhere. Well, unless you come through from www.pokeschool.com (http://www.pokeschool.com) anyway.

I know, we can do that and go through pokeschool.com, but there aren't even any links to rules. Anywhere. And yes, I know most people will know the rules anyway, but what about new members who come directly to the forum and not via pokeschool? There'll be no way to read the rules.

And besides, there a few members who should be setting a good example and who've been here for a while not following the rules. *Shiftey eyes*

We could have a rules forum, as is rather common.... but I highly doubt it'd be that effective. May be the only alternative to simply posting a sticky topic in every forum though - which is waaay undesirable.

Regardless of how undesirable it is we still need the rules in some easy to find place (I certainly don't know where they are)

Im sure it will be at least somewhat effective, I always read the rules when i join a new forum and even if some new people don't at least they would be aware of a stickey topic up the top every time they post.

Judging by PRP as an example, the sticky topics are read by about 2/10 of all the new members. Half the time we end up having to yell at people to read the rules and then edit their posts...

If it was something to be enforced really strongly, it would have to be done in a different way.

The old boards (http://www.pokeschool.com/forum/) had an announcement section on the very top of the forum page. Perhaps I can see if Chedy can manipulate such a thing for these forums. That would be better than a sticky in every forum, and it's the very top thing on the Pokeschool Forums page, so people would see it.

Well, we can always all at once decend on all new members like a flock of screaming banshees, and roar out the the rules full volume.
