Am I lucky or what AMAZING DRAFT

Anyway i had some extra time today so i decided i would play in a new saviors draft and raredraft all the pithing needles i could get. In the end i got 1 pithing needle and 2 twincast. Anyway that seemed to be enough for me but i got a buy first round. Then i won second round. Then in the third round i made a split with my opponent. He gets win and packs i get fnm foily fof. After that i won the random prize so at the end of the day i got 2 fnm fof, pithing needle, and 2 twincast. Thats a pretty good draft id say.

i went drafting at a store the had 3 pods nomaly your sopose to only par up agianst people in your pods th gyu par all the oods toger im like what? it was also un plaeasan cause all the kids wer rardrfting like a mofo

wow u got lucky. even with 1 needle i would be happy but u get 2 twincasts. did u get them all in ur packs. cause the other people are stupid not to take those. and 2 fof's are nice. i thought u were gonna say u won two pakcs and 135 needles were in one and 1564 twincasts were in the other. but that would be a little ridiculous.

lol no all i pulled was a twincast. I got passed a twincast in the next pack and in the last pack like 5th pick i got a needle. I was like holy **** what morons passed a 20 dollar rare in a draft where the winner gets 3 packs and a fnm card. Then i went on to win the fof's which was amazing

Hmm. We draft for picks where I play. i.e-there is no reward for a raredrafter, and it's going to be the best player/best drafters who wind up with the pricey rares. As much as winning packs can be cool, I'd hate to have to waste a pick on an unplayable rare in draft just because i needed to own one for later. And since the winner get's the first two picks, a good player is REALLY well rewarded. Last time I won a CCB draft I snagged an Umezawa's Jitte and the discard rat from champs, and the time before it was a Cranial Extraction and a Kiki-Jiki. I like the idea of rewarding skill, rather than those lucky enough to crack something expensive. I'd rather get the best two rares from 24 packs than 3 random ones.

yea thats how i draft with friends. Last week i drafter with friends and winner of each game got 3 cards from whoever he beat to keep and put in his deck. Anyway out of 8 people i got first winning a meloku, kokusho, and a couple of swords
