Astral Projection 3UUU

enchantment

At the beginning of any player's combat step, you may
put any number of cards from your hand into one face down
pile. Treat this pile as a colorless creature with haste
and with power and thoughness equal to the number of cards
in it. (The pile is always treated as a creature, spells or
abilities that target creatures target the pile as a whole)

At the end of each turn return all cards in that pile to
your hand.

"Shape your thoughts, mind becomes matter and all fears
become reality."

What if the creature dies? Do the cards all go to the graveyard. What if its a sword to plowshears? Are all cards removed from the game. Its a cool idea, it just seems a bit risky and that it needs more wording to avoid rules questions.

whoa. . .what a crazy card. . .this reminds me of an old school magic card. . .back when they just made the ability and threw it out there, and let the players try to figure it out. . .that's a compliment, really. . .those cards are fun. . .

There are obviously rules issues with this, but I really like the idea.

Very cool formating, but I wonder if the same thing can't be accomplished by RFG cards in your hand and putting a token into play.

"At the beginning of each combat step, you may remove X cards in your hand from the game face-down. If you do, put a X/X colorless Illusion creature token with haste into play.
At the end of turn, sacrifice that creature. If you do, return the removed cards to your hand."

that would work.

amazing concept, really impressive
a little over costed at the moment but could be fun and very flavorful

theres no rulling issues because the pile is treated as a creature

so if you play a boomerang and return the pile/creature to your hand you return all the cards

the same with spells that remove creatures from the game or destroy them

i must confess that i think that the current wording is a bit experimental but im gonna think about it

GenericKens wording is good and does the same but thats not as elegant as my wording

anyway thanks for feedback guys

A great merger of form and function. If it was just a bit clearer rules-wise it would be perfect.
