Only three cards have ever gotten my perfect rating as of yet...
Neo1 Feraligatr, which I reviewed in 2003, Base Chansey, also from 2003, and Sneasel.

Altho, right now, Base Chansey would get a much lower rating, due to the change in Metal's wording.

Neo1 G8r is still dominant in Neon and Rocket On formats (if anybody still wants to play those), and will always get perfect scores in either of those formats. UNL, I'd make it much lower, as too much is faster than it.

Baboon edit- I wrote about Base Chansey in August 2003, right in the transition from Wizards' rules to Nintendo's. Under Wizards', I gave Chansey my highest (9.5), and under Nintendo's rules, I gave it an 8.

I could have sworn that Baboon reviewed this before. Guess not. In retrospect, it's true... this card DOES look kinda weak. It's rather funny that it was the scourge of the format.

Trivia is really easy. I thought those two were banned at the same time, but I wasn't really involved in organized play of any kind during that time period.

I could have sworn I reviewed it as well. I have done two other Sneasels and Sneasel ex before, but never this Sneasel.
As for the trivia, Sneasel was banned right at the announcement of Modified in 2001. The other card's banning was delayed a little over a year.

was the other card fralagorer (riptide)?

Nope. Feraligatr remained legal. I remember it being a truly dominant force... It was one of those cards that's so overused, but they didn't have enough of a reason to ban it, so everyone dealt with it.

Wasn't G8r, even though that card was attacking dominant, it was incredibly slow at the time. Many decks were faster than it, but nothing could match it for late game comebacks. I'll give a hint as to the OTHER card that was banned: it completely changed the Unlimited metagame, and is now the cornerstone for at least 3 of the top 10 decks in that format.
