Let's just burst in with the deck:

4x Blazing Shoal
4x Myojin of Infinite Rage
4x Heart Kami
4x Slith Firewalker
4x Magma Jet
4x Shock
4x Pyroclasm
4x Stone Rain
4x Molten Rain
3x Stalking Stones
4x Chrome Mox
17x Mountain

--Sideboard--
Echoing Ruin
Sowing Salt
Possible -
Trinisphere
Solemn Simulacrum

Where Ponza just kills out his lands and beats him down with a Slith till it finishes him off with an Arc Slogger, this focusses more on the direct kill with Blazing Shoal while busy kicking him down to 0. This also has a pretty good chance of beating him down to a mere 7 life at turn 1, though it needs a lucky draw, and with even more luck you can get a turn 1 kill too!

Still thinking of what the sideboard should be. Sowing Salt is killer against Tooth, and Echoing Ruin pests out the Vials. Trinisphere should be meant to lock White Weenie and such to 3cc on all, and Solemn is just to get in some acceleration against Ponza or RG LD.

Thought please?

Intresting use of the Shoal and Myojin but I would cut them both to two or three and run some Arc Sloggers instead as you dont want the Shoal or Myojin sitting in your hand doing nothing until you have the mana to pay for them (or to use the shoal well). Can you explain to me the turn 1 kill?.

Turn One kill at least as I see it goes like this:

You Draw:

Mountain
Chrome Mox
Slith Firewalker
Blazing Shoal x2
Myojin of Infinite Rage x2

You play:
1. Mountain
2. Chrome Mox
3. Slith Firewalker
4. Blazing Shoal, removing Infinite Rage
5. Blazing Shoal, removing Infinite Rage
6. Swing with a hasty creature for 21 points of damage

Granted this is extremely lucky draw, but the possibility is always there.

Cutting them out is basicly killing the whole deck. In ponza you also sit with an arc slogger till you can kill with him, and this deck runs in killing while, not killing at the end of weakening him. Gotta see how hard it is to overcome 13 damage on turn 1 or 2 when playing Ponza...

um, you could get rid of two cards by just using spark elemental instead of slith firewalker, chrome mox, and some red card. also, sparky has trample and swings for more.

what are you imprinting on the mox? and yeah if you're using this you might wanna try raging goblin or spark elemental

How are you suppose to win late game? Myojin is probably too late vs agro and against control they either have a fatty flier or counters ready for myojin.

Sheesh! I cleary have an 8 card hand with another red card. But seriously, I have to admit I hadn't even thought of that... I suppose I have no idea of what he was talking about when he said turn 1 kill.

Cut sliths? Ever had the problem of a 5/5 Slith Firewalker in play? I might cost 1 more, but cutting it out is beating the deck down a lot. Ponza just needs the huge growth of a Slith.
And Spark elementals only hit once, so they're only useful if you have a shoal backed up. Raging Goblin is in that case a lot better, as it stays untill you can really use it, or to kick down a bit after you have used him.
Sure, Elemental has trample, but the deck plays 3 burn cards to get down little things, 2 land destroyers to prevent the big things from coming, and a sideboarded Sowing Salt to stop the huge things from Toothing through.

against tooth you have Sowing Salt, against trolls you have Pyroclasm..
