Registration:

The First Official TCGplayer OCG Tournament will begin October 25, 2009; registration is open as of now.

Registration is closed 11:59 P.M., October 18, 2009.

Decklists must be submitted before 12:00 A.M., October 23.

I don't know about anyone else, but my YVD hasn't updated for Ancient Prophecy, and the updater doesn't show that it needs one in OCG Mode, so you will likely need to do a manual update from xerocreative if you want to use the latest cards.

I haven't played YVD in a while, but before I quit I had Ancient Prophecy. I remember dueling vs X-Sabers, and a Vayu build.

If you had it, it wasn't a official set. There is no official set for the OCG Mode of YVD past Raging Battle. Everything is Bootleg, and the version that you can get has Blackwing instead of Blackfeather, so you will have to edit the OCG Set to correct it.

Unless everyone gets the same Bootleg file, there is going to be a problem with having a YVD OCG Tournament.

The TCG Mode is fine. It has Ancient Prophecy. It's the OCG Mode that doesn't, and there isn't a OCG Update for the YVD Updater to access, so there is no Ancient Prophecy for the OCG Mode at this time unless you get a Bootleg version.

Considering that there are still details to work out, it probably should be put on hold altogether.

There are no "official" Ancient Prophecy updates to YVD for the OCG half of the Dueling Software, and the "unofficial" update list certain cards under their TCG name, which means that they will show up as bad cards if used against another player who doesn't have the same Set File.

So, unless everyone agrees to ONLY use the current OCG Set File which only goes up to Raging Battle as far as released Sets go, then its going to be difficult to have a start date of 25 October, especially considering Deck List are due in 4 days.

Why YVD OCG Mode hasn't been updated is beyond me. The OCG has had Ancient Prophecy for nearly 5 months.

Not to mention there's cards like Darkness Neosphere that aren't even updated in the OCG (not that I was planning on using it, mind you....;)). But it just kind of kills the whole idea of playing with a OCG deck, if even on YVD you can't get all the cards.

Levi15791 is in the process of creating a Set File.

If it is not completed by the first of November, the tournament will be played with the exclusion of Ancient Prophecy.

I went searching on XC and found the official OCG set file as of October.

There is an OCG set file made by a Kaikan on the XC forums that contains all the cards up to SOVR. I have noticed, however, that it doesn't contain newer cards, such as Fiend Roar Diety Beast Cerebral and Starlight Road...so I guess it's up to DT06. I don't have a link, unfortunately, but I know it's out there.

The link I posted above was the set file from Kaikan, but for some reason it doesn't have ANPR. And he just updated his post a few days ago so I'm fairly sure it's the right set file.

Its funny, because there are a bunch of links out there to OCG Set Files, and no one is bothering to add ANPR.

I have one, as I posted earlier, but it list the all the Blackfeather's as Blackwing's. I guess its easy enough to just edit the file to add the correct name, since most of the hard work has already been completed.

They have the SOVR, but its still listing Black Feathers as Blackwings. At this point, it doesn't really matter, and its easier to understand what they are, since the OCG names are way out there anyway.

But Darkness Neosphere is there.... ;)

I finally go it to work. For some reason when I went through My Computer->Program Files->YVD and replaced the set file it didn't work.

I had to open up YVD, click load deck, then go into the YVD folder from there and place the OCG set file into the folder.

Also, they recently updated the OCG Set File (the unofficial file), so everyone who is in the tournament needs to make sure they have the LATEST update (http://www.sendspace.com/file/1tvb9o)

Otherwise, we will end up with loads of Bad Cards from the latest Sets.
