SInce ANPR has been releassed a while I wanted to know if Koa'ki meiru are a solid or can be a solid deck type.
If yes then give me decks please.
Do you think that they'll get a boost from Stardust Overdrive?
Or are they completly unplayable as a deck?

Many say thier not playable, and should only be plashed in decks I have played with a few builds like a Koa'ki meiru deck made around DNA transplant and core blaster along with a few others. Like Aliens it takes allot of skill to play a full KKM deck, and know how to maintain your cards and the core without killing yourself. Stardust overdrive and the next packs after it will boost this deck in stardust overdrive we get a new boss dragon, and our own Celestia lightsworn angel( AKA Rooklord).

I've tested similair builds to Hamon's and they do quite well. It will be a better solid deck-type on its own in the months to come. Still not overly competitive, but look at what Morphs and Gemini's have become since thier inceptions.

I think they are bad.
Their reliance on Core ruins their chances of being good as one entire decktype. They are only good in their individual decks where their playability can be maximised.

I don't think its so much they are bad on thier own, but that Core and Core support cards take up a good portion of tech slots in the deck.
If they get hit with one big play that cuts off thier lifeline, it becomes near impossible to recover.

Koa'ki Meirus as a deck type are rather terrible. I've played against quite a few of them and I've always won without much resistance.
They're best played individually in Rock Stun, Disaster Dragon, etc.
However, I must say that the Koa'Ki Meiru counter trap is rather annoying.

They are bad as a whole. Individualy they are pretty good. They rely to much on the Core. They have to draw at least 1 of 3 cards. That is a 3 in 40 chance. Once you get it it can keep itself in your hand but it keeps you from drawing into new cards. Besides that Mind Crush destroys the deck.

Actually with 3 Boulder, 3 Iron Chore, 3 Iron Immediate Disposal, and 2 Gold Sarc there's a 11 out of 40 chance of getting it, so now as bad as first made out to be. Really you want to have multiple Iron Chores in hand, just a pain, they aren't super bad, they can work, but they're infinitely better as support for other decks.

yeah lets see whats coming I think that stardust overdrive will have some impact^^
how usefull is reckless greed IYO since you can make use of not drawing by adding iron core to your hand
edit:
One problem I noticed is if Your opponenthas got something like JD or DAD on the field you can't destroy ti that often since they don't have so many destruction cards....so what to tech?

If they all didn't heavily rely on Core, they would be more playable. I would use them by themselves, much better results and they can be teched in some neat decks. such as Rock Stun.

yeah but if you run them along side some support like for fiends gorz and so on it should lift the burden of iron core...so maybe 3 koa'ki meiru + 2 reveal targets assuming you can reavel a copie for itto stay alive....

As a full deck it just doesn't cut it. What they excel at is team support for other decktypes.

yeah it may be that they are a bit inconsistant but a right built can be quite good..
lets see if rooklord and the new dragon boss change it...
