first off, i'd like to say that this is not a competitive deck, its merely a casual deck (which unfortunately i have not had the time to try out). I'm trying to perfect the balance of the deck and any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. anyway heres the rundown of the deck

I guess i should explain a little how this deck works. basically i want to get the sphinx monsters out. i've tried to balance out the drawing power (serial spell + pot of greed, iron knight + butterfly dagger + magical library etc), summoning power (ultimate offering, big eye + monster gate, a hero emerges etc.) and the ability to stall until i can get the sphinx cards out. In addition, it tries to remove andro and teleia from play using fire sorcerer, banisher of the light + card destruction etc. in order to use return of the different dimension. I think the rest of it is self explainatory. anyway, like i was saying before, i'd like to perfect the deck so any suggestions would be very helpful. oh and don't say Pyramid of Light, i know that, i just don't have it.

hmmm... no suggestions? well, i guess a little update is in order then. i've finally had the chance to test the deck out. I lost the match 2 duels to 1, but i learnt alot from it and i've come up with a few new combos using the cards i've got. in the first 2 duels i was totally wiped out, but came back to win the last with 800 lifepoints remaining. I even managed to get both andro and teleia on the field at the same time! I'm going to try and get a soul release to help remove them from play and i'd like to get a few copies of pyramid of light but outside of buying them online i don't see that happening. anyway... someone please reply with a suggestion as to how i might improve on this idea.

I have to applaud you on working on a sphinx deck, it's nice to see creativity instead of the same old decks. I'm working on a sphinx deck also, while it's not complete the win/loss ratio has been 50/50 so far.

yea um sphinx cards are tourny leagle and i like you deck idea, its different and not the same old Chaos crap that is all over the place. Keep it up:b:

I know you said about the Pyramid of Light, but I just bought 2 off of e-bay pretty cheap. You might be able to pick up 1 or 2 there to add to your deck.

I find different dimension capsul very helpful also.

Just a silly idea. But have you thought of using D.D Scout planes, throw three of them in the grave, (Cheeful Coffin, Painful or a Serial Spell, with Sole Release Set), remove from them from play with Sole Release, then vola three D.D Scout planes to tribute next turn and then repeat.
