I agree with Welding Jar's list minus the Vine Kami, you shouldn't really hit 7 mana with this deck and have it matter.

well im 4-6 but the 6 I lost i tried playing white/red just for fun

Scrap Distress. You already have two double-blacks in Befoul and Greed. Running Vine Kami is fine with STE and Sachi with gobs of Shamans. I think my 41 card build is best.

It's kind of hard to argue with Welding Jar's build. Your Black and Green are really good, your Blue is really poor, and White and Red only look good as splash colors. So if you were concentrating on a Black and Green build, I would probably go with:

Creatures
Child of Thorns
Feral Deceiver
Hana Kami
Kami of the Hunt
Matsu-Tribe Decoy
Petalmane Baku
Rootrunner
Sachi, Daughter of Seshiro
Sakura-Tribe Elder
Sakura-Tribe Springcaller
Vine Kami
Nezumi Cutthroat
Okiba-Gang Shinobi
Scuttling Death
Takenuma Bleeder

Spells
Genju of the Cedars
Befoul
Devouring Greed
Distress
Stir the Grave
Soulless Revival
Blinding Powder
No-Dachi

Land
9 Swamps
8 Forests

This deck features a huge number of creatures, with some pretty decent support in it. It's got a bit more double Black spells and only single Green spells, so I think the correct ratio is in favor of Black. Especially as you get pretty potent acceleration from Sachi (2 Shamans in the deck). I think Distress does have a purpose in the deck, and it is rather viable even turn 3 or 4. However, it would be the first card I cut if I moved to adding another color.

So, with that, here's my thoughts on a Black/Green/White build:

Creatures
Feral Deceiver
Hana Kami
Kami of the Hunt
Matsu-Tribe Decoy
Petalmane Baku
Rootrunner
Sachi, Daughter of Seshiro
Sakura-Tribe Elder
Sakura-Tribe Springcaller
Nezumi Cutthroat
Okiba-Gang Shinobi
Scuttling Death
Takenuma Bleeder
Kitsune Blademaster
Kitsune Diviner
Lantern Kami

Spells
Genju of the Cedars
Befoul
Devouring Greed
Soulless Revival
Tershi's Verdict
Blinding Powder
No-Dachi

Land
7 Swamps
7 Forests
3 Plains

This deck features a few smaller creatures in it, but almost everything in the deck runs off of just one colored mana. You've got one nice combat trick available (using the Lantern Kami as a delivery system for your one ninja), some decent removal and ways to recur it, as well as plenty of ways to generate mana.

As for the Black/Green/Red, you can go with:

Creatures
Feral Deceiver
Hana Kami
Kami of the Hunt
Matsu-Tribe Decoy
Petalmane Baku
Rootrunner
Sachi, Daughter of Seshiro
Sakura-Tribe Elder
Sakura-Tribe Springcaller
Nezumi Cutthroat
Okiba-Gang Shinobi
Scuttling Death
Takenuma Bleeder
Blademane Baku/Ronin Houndmaster?
Frostling
Ember-Fist Zubera

Spells
Genju of the Cedars
Befoul
Devouring Greed
Soulless Revival
Yamabushi's Flame
Blinding Powder
No-Dachi

Land
7 Swamps
7 Forests
3 Mountains

The toughest choice I have here is whether to take the Blademane Baku or the Ronin Houndmaster. I like the Houndmaster, as he's a quick beater, but the Baku has a huge amount of synergy in the deck, with all the various spirit creatures in here. Plus, putting a No-Dachi on him is pretty nasty as well. So, I'm leaning towards the Baku here. But you get access to another removal spell in red, some more creatures with different abilities, and another way to abuse Devouring Greed.

Note: in each of the three color builds, I would probably recommend adding the 4 Plains or 4 Mountain respectively. In either case, it doesn't really dilute your deck, and probably helps with the consistency some.

Well as ive already played my 5 games for the week ill mess around with the builds you posted epeeguy and tell you how they all did just cause I got nthn else better to do and so you know how your thoughts go, but welding jars deck is jsut awesome Im undefeated with it. (Thanks Jar!)

No prob. Epee, your builds look okay, but the splashes shouldn't be cards that cost C or 1C. Lantern Kami is bad in a white splash. And Houndmaster is miles better than Baku, especially in this build. As a splash and with little Spiritcraft, this is fine.

I will give advice on any sealed pool.

I agree on the Lantern Kami; the Mothrider Samurai would be a far better choice for the deck, as it is certainly a much more dangerous creature. Of course, other options include some of the other White spells, like Candles' Glow, that might be worth it.

As for the Houndmaster versus the Baku... I would agree, if the Baku weren't such a good finisher. Especially as it can take down some much larger creatures once you get a few counters on it. Equipped with the No-Dachi, and it is pretty fearsome. Plus it is also a reasonably cheap card to add to the deck.

But, like I said, it was a tough decision on my part between the two.

i'd go with W/B deck because black has some nice cards in scuttles, greed cuttroat befoul and takenuma. some other support spells.

white provides the defense in order to hold the ground for greed/cuttroat win.

No-Dachi is really good too.

alright so its been a week since teh league started so I added in a new booster here is what I got tell me what you would change to the decks now

Shinka Gatekeeper-Red
Ninja of the Deep Hours-Blue
Scaled Hulk-Green
Skullmane Baku-Black
Hundred-Talon Strike-White
Goblin Cohert-Red
Phantom Wings-Blue
Vital Surge-Green
Crawling Filth-Black
Silverstorm Samurai-White
Ire of Kaminari-Red
Heed the Mists-Blue
Orge Maraduer-Black
Ronin Warclub-Artifact
annnnnnnnd
yes one of the best cards for a sealed deck
JITTE :D (I was very happy to see it)

now I know Jitte is going into my deck but anything else I really don't think so because the G/B build is already great and no new cards taht would really be a help.

Well the Jitte is an easy inclusion and should ensure that you do very well for the rest of the league, but I think you should also think about Ogre Marauder. He can be very difficult to deal with for some decks. Ronin Warclub is also pretty tasty.

Out of what you got, the best cards are going to be the:

Ogre Marauder: Good, aggressive creature for the deck. Either deals 3 damage, or kills 2 creatures.

Ronin Warclub: Good with the one Ninja you have, as well as any other large creature.

Umezawa's Jitte: Nothing needs be said.

I would probably say that you can drop the No-Dachi from your build for the Jitte. That seems to be a very sensible move. Not sure what else to tweak though; but definitely the Jitte is better than the No-Dachi.

Wow, that deck looks familiar. I think I may have played against you in that league!

If it was you, Jitte owned my sweet UWb deck (no artifact removal) so I switched to my GBr deck just to have answers for Jitte in games 2 and 3.

Your card pool certainly doesn't lead to an obvious power build. At least you pulled some hot rares! I agree with going green/black, although your red and white might be worth looking at with the new pack.
