help with a card

I recently saw a green card (I think it was from an older set) that said something about paying one life to add one colorless mana to your mana pool.
I can't remember the name. Any help would be appreciated.

I was wondering, is there a card that let's you search your library for a card and put that card into play under your opponents control?

I don't think so. The closest card to what you're looking for is Donate. I could be wrong, as I havn't been following the new sets that closely.

yeah closest thing is Donate. No spell lets you take card(s) from their lib into their field.
