This Thread: It is dedicated to the discussion Psyhics (duh:D).

Psychics have alot of potential. At my local shop and game holder; They asked me what deck I had, I said Psychics. What!? Psychics!? They wanted to try a game against my deck and I gladly gave it to them. On 5 persons, I won 4. They did say that it was one of the most weird deck they would play against since they never saw people really using any Psychics except ET and Krebons. We shal proove, with this thread, that the Psychic Power should NOT be underestimated.

- There is a newly announced card: Psyhic Emperor (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Psychic_Emperor). It is one of the Monarchs. WE HAVE OUR OWN MONARCHS!!W00T:D

- Armored Psychicker: His effect does not target Psychics in the Graveyard. Will he be abused for his monster reborn-ish effect? He could easily revive the low level tuners.

PSYCHICS

A description of Psychics: They are the newest type (not archetype) to be released. They mainly resemble robots, cyberspace, sci-fi monsters or humans with machines on them or with mutations. Their art all contain a green background and usually have a form of electricity. Their effects usually involves paying LifePoints but nearly always at good cost.

There are currently 17 TCG Monsters, 18 OCG Monsters, 4 TCG Synchro Monsters, 16 TCG Magic cards, 19 OCG Magic Cards. There is 1 TCG-Exclusive Psychic Monster: Overdrive Teleporter.

The Psychic Army and Their Weapons:

Here is a story made by Freepoints to go with the way I put the Psychic cards:
[[The Psychics were once human, or at least some of them were. They graudally advanced more and more in technology and brain research that they became so advanced they could actually map out the electromagnetic field of the brain. With more research of the brain they eventually found a way to bring the dead back to life by reviving their brain, they could create cyborgs. The "Doctors" began to rule humanity. Dead brains were being placed in mechanical bodies, the secrets of the brain were unlocked. The new race of Sy'Kiks were created. The people that did not undergo this biomechanical "upgrade" were shunned and became inferior. Being able to revive brains, the Doctors soon got news of what "heaven" looked like, where religion had previously been killed by the advancements in science, Science was now supporting religion. The Doctors were extremely anxious to find about about this 'Heaven' they had heard. They were able to transfigure to human soul into an pseudo-angelic body and sent them into Heaven. Angels were confused, they had never encountered real humans in Heaven before, all the humans that had died had come as Angels. The Sy'Kiks were fascinated by this discovery and began to investigate everything in Heaven. Samples of the fruits, the environment were taken back to Earth for research. The Sy'Kiks were invading Heaven. God called divine punishment, and the war between what were once human and the Angels became. The Sy'Kiks had been able to create Electromagnetic barriers to protect them from the divine powers of the angels. Technology advanced and advanced for both sides. The war had begun.]]

Psychic Emperor is confirmed as a TCG Exclusive for ANPR. It has 2400 attack and when it is normal/spacial summoned you gain 500 life per psychic in grave. what is better this or Armored Psychicker if they are both level 6?

Anyways, for the decision between Psychicker & Psychic Monarch:
It really comes down to build. If your going Synchro,armored Psychicker is better because you will be able to special summon the lower ATK tuners form the grave, thus giving the ability to recycle the tuners.

If it is beatdown or something like stall, put the Emperor because he is able to hit. Although, he could go in a Synchro. it not like Psychicker needs a tribute anyways; youl always have a Psychic on the field.

I go Synchro so for me: Armored Psychicker.
Atlhough, I will need to analyse the effectivness of Emperor.

I like the Intro, Alien Cloudian, you put that feeling of realism into it with the soldiers, warriors, etc
You can make a Psychic swap deck based on Doctor Cranium (so you can give to your opponent and kill), Psychic Jumper and Creature Swap.

MST is limited...
A Mist Body might be good on the Jumpers.
I usually suicide the Jumpers with the swapped Craniums so that they don't become a hole in my defence.
One destructotron might be enough.
Mind protectors are good ^^
Might not need Lightning Vortex.

Looks good though ^^ There may be other cards that are good but I haven't researched swapping yet so...

Did it work. Your Psycho-Zombie Deck? What main cards did you put. IMO, with Armored Psychickers Splashability, it would become a powerful Hybrid Deck. AP could revive alot of low-ATK monsters, thus giving to the "Zombie" Style of play.

Also, Telekinetic Charging Cell seems too good to be true. My main targets are Thought Ruler and Krebons and it seems to me that a free negated attack or free negation is very very broken. There is only one in the deck as I use Brain Exploitation Research Lab instead.

Psycho Fissure(Uses D.D. Survivor as unlimited synchro fuel and D.D.R. as three monster Reborns.)

Psycho Return (Like Bazoo Return except uses Borg instead and uses Return from the Different Dimension for an OTK will be very viable if Dimension Fusion comes back to 1)

Psycho Sworn(Both are called masochistic decks so I wanted to see how well they'd worked together. Also Psychic Overload recharges the deck so you won't deck out as often.)

Telekinetic Charging is good but dont replce it with BERL because you only stall the cost. I use BERL only for the extra summon. Its like saying: Pay 1000 Lifepoints to Nomal Summon again this turn.

About your other decks; Will you try them at your next local? If so, dont forget to bring the report.

Nice to know. Ima still stick to BERL, more pronoucable.

Also, I fixed the name of various cards prior to the release of their real names on the wikia.

I use BERL in two situations, if I have my Hanewata in hand then I go crazy racking up the Psychic Counters. Or if I have OTK potential. For example, I will have three monsters, one for one, and the lab. Use the lab to double summon two monsters and one for one mind master. Get destructotron to clear the back field and if there is no way for them to stop me (T-Roar and Wabakou) I go nuts.

I also do not go to locals.

I would use BERL the same way. For me, I go to my locals but dont participate in any tourney. Ive seen over 50+ and each time, it was one of the three same deck that won: Dad variants, BW or Glad. So I just go there and duel with my friends (that also doesnt participate) or simply talk bout yugi.

Anyways the "Doctors" are Doctor Cranium and the other Doctors around BERL. Also this story was inspired by "Ferren and the Angel" by Richard Harland.

Actually, I'm currently working on a removal Psychic deck already. Tested my first version and it's doing ok.

One card that I've found works surprisingly well with this type is Prime Material Dragon. It's especially useful with BERL out as the opponent is faced with much more then simply a few problems if it's already racked up several counters.

With that mained three times, my deck revolves allot more around the cards that would inflict me damage rather then pay up as a cost. In the end, my opponent gets disoriented through all the searching, removal, retrieval and constant life point fluctuations. Very fun and confusing deck though for the time being, the removal is limited to my own grave for testing purposes. XD

Soul Absorption works good too.

Also, I like your story Freepoints.

-1 Psychic Tuning(Kinda slow, and you don't want to end up drawing into it at a wrong time. 2 copies should be enough.)

Yeah, I already took out the Psy Tuning, it's only really good for reviving Synchros xD
Havent added Terraforming, but added another Psy Rejuv (works well with full field) ^^

I really want some F*ing good as the Exclusive.

Yeah, especially considering the fact that some of newer Psychics from Absolute Power Force are a bit of a disappointment(Or at least they are in my opinion...).

Pandaborg-This would have actually been pretty great, if it could have special summon lower level psychics as well as level 4 psychics. Just to have more access to the Psychic Tuners, like Krebons or Psychic Commander.

Psychic Curse-Honestly, this is no where near good. While using this on a level 4 psychic inflicts 1200 damage to your opponent's life and destroys your opponent's monster, I rather protect my psychic monster for synchroing purposes or just having another monster on the field and still destroy the monster with a card like Sakuretsu Armor, Mirror Force, Dimension Prision, ect.

I'm going to be looking into RFG Psychics. Macro Cosmos and Dimension Fissure hurts a lot of grave based decks, D.D. Survivor and Scout Plane can make some epic Synchro food. And then we have Psychic Path and Genetic Woman to help with the bringing back RFGed Psychics to the hand as well.

By the way, how is your deck testing Freepoints?

My deck was actually working very well ^^
The OTK set up is actually fairly easy to achieve. And you really don't even need the BERL to do it, you can swarm easily but BERl does make it easier.

Has, anyone come up with any new techs, or builds for psychics ? mine is doing pretty well went 2-2 at locals today with it. I beat a psychic, and a saber deck lost to morphtronics, and blackwings.
