The monkey did that once for Ad, iirc. In fact, I think it was a tripple nom.

No, it wasn't me. Foofmonger was doing them at the time, and I think it was for gre- No. It was for Ma Chao. I may have been doublenommed once, but I don't remember it.

This weeks choice was somewhat difficult for me. Rumor Mill seemed a little degenerate in combination with Latern of Insight. Now that is an odd combo to be worried about, but the cheapness of the two could lead to a lot of boring games that end of turn 3. Admittedly, it's something that would have to be tested. Isochron Scepter/Boomerang turned out not to light the world on fire. But both pieces are tutorable with Fabricate (or Enlightened Tutor in other formats) here, and in Type 2 at least, Latern gets fetched via Trinket Mage and friends.

The ninja, I felt, didn't feel blue. I guess it's open for debate, but it seems like WotC has been pushing the tax thing heavily into white.

Parley, again, didn't seem to have the right color feel to it, mainly its ability to hit any creature. I don't know that requiring two creatures in play to tap makes it white.

Raise from Darkness probably hadn't the coolest effect this week, and it is a good synergistic entwine spell, which I always like. But why oh why are you allowed to Exhume for 1G?

City of Echoes is quite frankly not very strong.

So obviously, I voted for Patrolled Borders. Was it kind of a default vote for the card that didn't offend my color pie sensibilities? Pretty much. Although I'm somewhat hard-pressed to figure out why white is the token-mashing color via Dogged Hunter.

You are allowed nothing for :1::g:, you are allowed something for :3::b::g: or something for :2::b:...

Whoops. Sorry. Got confused there, especially since my monitor's colors have gone and I can't tell the difference between green and black. Still, you're winning by a lot. Token vote for the token destroyer.

i think we need to stop all the politics of winning and just make cards to make them
