Okay, so I'm trying to figure out a nice green/white block deck when I stumble upon the Cradle of Vitality/Invincible Hymn/Mayael's Aria combo. With that in mind, I decided to throw in red too, here's the link, and any tips would be appreciated.

Although when I view a sample hand on the deck page I seem to be getting mana flooded, once again, tips please.

It requires ten mana the turn it goes off, it has little acceleration, and is easily disrupted by any creature removal, enchantment removal, counterspells, or bounce as you give them a whole turn to solve the combo.

I suggest you put a Knotvine Mystic to totally pump up the volume. Set your Enlisted Wurm and put some more decent Creatures to stack up the senses. Put Trace of Abundance to change your Lush Growth and you may have to change your borderpost with Jungle Shrine...

Apparently, the deck you're creating is a real budget type deck. Since this ish a Naya type deck, put Uril if your pockets aren't empty.

Well I agree with fact that it is easily removed, given the opponent has a whole turn to solve the problem, but I can't say I agree with the little acceleration, unless you mean little as in decent, because I'm seeming to get creatures out by turn three or four, whereas the opponent might get them in a turn earlier. And the fact that it requires ten mana the turn it goes off isn't really a big deal with the amount of mana flow in my opinion, and there is also four cradles and four hymns, which make the chances all the more. And aside from all that, you still have a freakishly large lifecount after it's all over if they do decide to path or terminate it.

if your going off of the combo as the deck focus, why not run more Low Cost creatures, that way you wouldnt be so vulnerable in early turns

the problem is, with all the spot removal, this deck seems a little weak and slow. However, there is a plus side to this. Running Knight of the Reliquary alone gives the deck a huge beater. Running guys like Troll Ascetic and Uril, who both have troll-shroud, allows you to put on counters, without fear of spot-removal. Troll is also a great creature on his own, and quite capable of surviving fallout on his own, plus providing you with either a beater of a recurring blocker in the early game, as you set up for your combo.

This deck Won't work! I mean from, the looks of this deck... You only have a very small amount of Mana you have in the deck wouldn't even let you gain the amount you need. A few mana producers make a way to make this deck great

I don't know why you'd even want to make a deck with this in the first place. It screams Timmy.

Besides, as already stated before, it's pathetically easy to shut down your "combo."

How about putting some creatures which have the ability of shroud? I think one of the problem here is that the creatures might be removal spells and that some of your creatures have large mana cost.

I suggest to check for these cards and think if some of this might work on your deck:

Creatures:
Aerie Mystics
Deft Duelist
Knotvine Mystic
Steward of Valeron

Spells:
Bant Charm
Cancel
Countersquall
Hindering Light
Tortoise Formation

What do you think?

why not put an apocalypse hydra so that when you have enough mana and mayael is in play you win instantly

as for the combo nah....but I run 2 Mayaels aria in a naya cascade and they make my steppe lynx and scutes and wooly's pretty damn heavy pretty quick. especially if I cascade through bloodbraid or captured sunlight and put it out there. then fetch/terramorphic/harrow.....Was thinking of side decking it till I tested it against vamps and it was a game winner more than a few times. Mabye it was a fluke but it deserves more testing I think.

I would add more lifegain to your deck than anything. I really like using Wall of Reverence in combination with Cradle of Vitality.

I made a similar deck which is now Extended legal.

I hope comparing decks helps.
