I had a whole team bred for Emerald... Seeing that my plan fell through, though, I've decided to train only Pokemon I haven't used this Gen (minus my starter).

My Marshtomp is actually traded, bred to know Mirror Coat. It's the only Pokemon from my original team plan I decided to hatch and trade. It's a good thing, too. For awhile I couldn't even use the darn thing >.>

It probably would've been if I'd been training six Pokemon, but since I only had two for the longest time (up til Slateport), one of which that was traded, it wasn't that bad.

That fact that you started a new game and you're still way ahead scares me :p

yeah.. in about 4 days ive thrown in about 15 hours worth of playing time. i play in school all the time and like i give it a good while every night. when i get addicted to a game.. i get addicted good. and pokemon is one of those games that just get me wired.

ill calm down once i get the team i want and the movesets. or after i beat the elite four. whichever my brain decides to quit on.

edit - i have ot leave for a family reunion today, so thats another 6 hours of playing if i dont fall asleep on the way there and on the way back. and my cousin is gonna be in the car with me so if we need to trade or battle i have someone right there to be my puppet.

I haven't the game yet, so I'm going strictly by the half info I can remember, so I may be way off, but don't you have to use the cel phone function int he pokenav and rechallenge the gym leaders yourself rather than waiting for them to rechallenge you?

Steven is no longer the Champion. His function is more like Red in the GSC series. Also, there's Battle Frontier, which is VERY nice, from what I've heard. OUtside that, and a couple of Trainer changes along the way, it's essentially the Yellow and Crystal to the new series.
