Bolt of Intimidation :1::r::w:
Instant
Bolt of Intimidation deals 3 damage to target creature. Other creatures can't attack this turn.

No I think a defensive deck would rather just have fallout. An aggressive deck still has to deal with all the blockers

I think that maybe some people will try this out for boat brew. Fallout would kill your creatures. This can buy you a turn to kill them with fliers. I can see potential.

Agreed. Don't write this off. Between this and cryptic 5cc can now access 8 uber-fogs - do they need more fogs though?
However, I just noticed that (at least in this wording) you can't use this to clear a path for your own attackers :( that will cost a lot of games at the pre-release.

I'd rather have a fog in limited most of the time. Then you can alpha back from what your opponent thought was going to be lethal. Still, removal. It's like a really bad Lightning Helix.

Yes you can. Declare attackers at the beginning of the attackers step, and then cast this before passing priority to go into the blockers step.
But people misunderstanding this timing will still cost a lot of games at the pre-release.

You are right - but it is still a hinderance since most of the time you want to be sure that your spell actually kills their defender before jumping into the breach.

This is really good in the naya planeswalker deck. They were running naya charm before for the fog effect... this is better. Easier to cast, plus you take out a creature in addition to the fog. Only downside, you don't get the recollect option.
In general though, I still think this is playable. Justactcasual called this a bad lightning helix, and while I agree with that evaluation, I'd say that still makes the cut for standard.
