doublestrike is almost always better than have 2x that power and 4/4 for 4 is usually a pretty good spot on the curve. Unfortunately for the claws they are trying to break into what is probably the deepest concentration of amazing 4 drops that have ever existed.

My guess is that they only get a serious look if an aggro deck is playing with pump - though a wilt-leaf liege does makes them 8/6...
