Old player getting back in the game

Hi guys. After 3 years I'm getting back into YuGiOh. I found my old deck and added 3 or 4 of my little brothers cards and here's my deck now:

I took this deck to a local hobby shop and it did fairly well. But i feel that it is probably obsolete compared to how it used to be.

I really wish I knew what to tell you I really do. But since this deck doesn't have a set theme I really don't know what I would take out. Besides the Warrior Lady, Jinzo and the Spirit Reaper nothing else really seems that good to me. Exiled Force is okay! The spells have a little more going for them. I would highly recommend looking at current deck ideas if your trying to get back into this game. Also trying to make this deck a little faster with some Good Goblin Housekeepings, or Reckless Greeds for more draw support.

Well the deck was VERY close to the deck that Marik used in the show. But the Forbidden List kinda raped it so i threw in some rock/flip monsters. I was gonna try to go to a Burn/Stall kind of style.


A lot of the cards in this deck I've noticed no one uses anymore. But stuff like Helpoemer and Lava Golem to me are pure gold. And your opponent never sees them coming.

I'm thinking of searching for the rest of Marik's cards that have been released since I've been away from the game. Failing that I'm making a Zombie deck, lol

he had nightmare wheel plus it would go with your buring theme, it does 500 points of damage to the controller of the monster that you equip it too, lava golem plus that card = 1500 points of damage a turn
