What is/was the Best deck?

I'm new to this game but I've been collecting cards for a while now. I was wondering what the best deck ever built was? And another thing what are the 10 most powerful cards?

The best deck is the one created by its creator, and the best deck was a previous disposed deck created by its creator in order to construct a more regulated scenario for dueling standards. As of today, I stand at seeing many successful Chaos decks and Warrior/Control win at the races.

I am too widely accepted to regard any card as being top notch. All of them are if you use them to their full potential!

Yahoooo! my deck isn't so bad as I thought, but to come on the subject of Stag4 the card that must be in every deck is Man-Eater Bug!

anyways. i dont really think that theres only ONE best deck......
a strong deck usually just contains the cards that work best for its owner.....i personally prefer using monsters which not only are powerful, but look good.
for example - blue eyes. probably the strongest lv.8 monster out there. but i prefer using cosmo queen - it just....looks cooler to me, even if it isnt as powerful.
but in a fiend/dark based deck, its perfect. i have other cards that power it up. like mystic plasma zone.

just chose monsters that you like......and work strategies around them. there are always cards which you can use as combos with others.....

effect monsters totally kick *** though - a lot of my top carda are effect monsters.^^

geh - man eater - i hate that thing.....>_<
my mate uses it and gets me every damn time......¬¬

i wouldnt use it even if i had it though - i prefer other cards.....*shrug*

Why Man-Eater? If there's ONE good Flip Killer, it's Night Assailant.

Anyway, there is no actual best deck. Every deck has a chance to win from any other deck, unless it's just constructed crappy (but even then, it MIGHT beat the local champ) :p

Like JinzoGal says you should choose cards that best fit you. For me I like all Fiend/Effect monsters that's why my deck is pretty much all Fiends. Right now the big monster in my deck is Invader of Darkness...he may not be the best but he's my heavy hitter. The real trouble makers in my deck are Dark Ruler and Jinzo combo once they're out they are kinda hard to beat. But once Devil's Dread Root comes to the US look out cuz you've never seen a Fiend so strong. 4000 ATK and DEF is a beatstick waiting to happen.

jinzogal is right, cards you like are the best for you, i play with archfiends, which sometimes costs me alot of life but they work well for me, also i like xyz he can clear a field in 1 go, and there is almost nothing that can stop him

Because with Man-Eater Bug you can also destroy your own monsters and activate their effect such as Sangan and The Witch of the Black Forest.:p
And as JinzoGal77 said you have to choise the cards you like and i like Man-Eater and think he will do well in every deck!;)

man eater is ok but i think newdoria is better because i like the idea of attack me and i can take a couple of cards head on but if you attack i WILL take someone with me
