Field Ruling Question

1) If you have no cards on your side of the field and your partner controls a spell or trap, you won't be able to Gorz's effect if you took battle damage, correct?

Since Gorz looks at the entire your team's field rather than your own individual side, you shouldn't be able to able to use his effect.

2) Also about field control. If you partner controls, LADD and it is destroyed; both yours and their field should be destroyed by LADD's effect. Am I right?

Correct on both counts.

1 - In the same way as you can activate Dark Magic Attack when your team mate has the Dark Magician, you will be prohibited from summoning Gorz if there are any cards on your team-mate's side of the field.

2 - LaDD will destroy yours and your team-mate's cards.
