We've got a favorite water type thread so I think this is only fair. I don't like Fire Types but I do have two that I think are cool.

Blaziken
Arcanine

Those are my two. Blaziken first because I prefer to think of it as a Fighting type that can use Fire instead of a Fire/Fighting type. :)

Anybody else.

I never liked Charizard much. Mostly because of an old rivalry from back in the days when I was really into this. Fire Flying had too many weaknesses for my liking and my favorite pokemon from back in the day totaled it anyway.

It was Blastoise. Just too bad those moronic writers had Gary's Blastoise lose to that stupid Charizard of Ash's. That so shouldn't have happened.

Seriously? He's a fire type that gets owned by electricity. He can be blown to kingdom come by one of the funniest looking water types ever. Lanturn. Now I love Lanturn but Charizard does not pwn all.

Heck he got whipped by a Blaziken for crying out loud and really, in terms of type, should have won that match.

That was in the anime, in a real fight charizard would win. But yeah Charizard doesnt excactly kick ding-dong. But it is still my favorite fire type
