I think this card has some potential in Either Grixis or Bant Aggro. Pretty decent in Limited as well.

Definitely has potential in Grixis. Possibly in BR discard.

Bant aggro? I could be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure Bant is WUG, the exact opposite colors of this card. I'm thinking that there must be better choices in WUG as opposed to counting on a pair of Vivids or a Vivid and Reflecting pool by turn three.

As for constructed applications, this is obviously very similar to Ashenmoor Gouger. They're actually pretty close, and you have to ask yourself which is better the one extra toughness that will dodge incinerates, firespouts, etc, or unearth, which on this card is almost a Flame Javelin. Gouger's usefulness is dropping these days, so this may take oits place. Worth testing in Blightning Aggro for sure.

Yeah, I can see this guy in Jund Aggro. I agree with both Dyne and Dragon that there is a good chance that this will replace Ashenmoor Gouger.
