Halo is alright, but I never liked XBox so it was hard for me to ever get into the game.

Its annoying to get use to, but once you got it, its very easy, I got my 360 and Halo 3 today and I am loving it.

Halo 1 - Awesome
Halo 2 - Epic FAILURE
Halo 3 - Semi-Failure, but Forge can allow for some awesome tweaks to gameplay
Halo Wars - Looks good so far
Halo: ODST - Looks promising so far

That's my thoughts on the series. I rarely play Halo 3 anymore, but I do enjoy some custom maps and recently played a good one.

I love Halo 3. I never played another Halo game except Halo 1;2 player mode.

I loved the first one.
The second one took no skill.
The third one got boring very easily.

Bullados is a Halo hater.

The third one was easy to get bored of. Only 10 missions but the legend mode is hard.

phantom, you remind me of my friend Joe. He loves the 1st Halo (Still plays the PC version from time to time). The 2nd one had some neat tricks you could do. The 3rd one definitely got boring. It was fun to do custom maps with Forge. I may get Halo Wars and see how that is since I'm into a RTS mood of sorts.

In my option Halo 3 was fun if you never played it before and my next goal is to get
Halo: Wars.

Oddly enough I play the PC version from time to time too. But I mostly play COD:4 and COD: WaW now.

And Halo Wars will hopefully be fun. I'm a huge RTS fan so I should be easily entertained by it. I just hope that there is enough variety in troops and they some how have more than 2 or 3 "races" to play as.
