Personally I don't think any card should be banned or restricted. There are ways around every card making no card too powerful.

After they've made them, they can't change them.

I'm against them removing artifact lands. That breakes up Mirrodin totally. Only disciple banned would've been enough for me, leaving ravager as a great aggro instead of unbeatable.
