Untilled field
Land
Whenever the first creature for a turn comes into play , if ~ is untapped, add one mana of any color to your mana pool.
:t::Add :1: to your mana pool.

Name sucks, but it's the first ability that I wanted out there.

I'm not quite sure if that's the right wording either.

I don't want to use: "Whenever a creature comes into play, if that creature is the first creature to come into play this turn..."

I'm confused by the wording "for the first time in a turn." Does it only trigger once on the first creature each turn, or does it trigger each time a creature isn't blinked into play?

It should be the first creature to come into play that turn. Let me try to reword it.

What about "whenever a creature comes into play, if it was the first creature to come into play this turn, ..."

I already wrote something similar as a possibility, but I don't like the way it sounds. However, it may be my only option for proper templating of the effect.

I think it's fine as is now, considering it's similarity to Erayo (http://magic.tcgplayer.com/db/magic_single_card.asp?cn=Erayo,%20Soratami%20Ascen dant)'s wording.

I'm curious as what role you wanted this card to play. It seems like the right deck could abuse it pretty easily (especially in Legacy/Type 1). For examples, White Weenie could use this to garner +1 mana each turn beyond the first (for each of these in play!), and Raffinity could prolly even use this card. I don't really think it's broken, though, 'cuz of the burn you'd take off of it in later turns.

The original idea was a land that could generate mana on every turn, but only after a creature came into play. I could just remove the :t: ability altogether.
