Magic PTQ Kyoto for Albuquerque, New Mexico!!!

TIME:
Registration begins at 9:00 AM with the tournament starting promptly at 10:00 AM.
Registration closes 15 minutes before the event is scheduled to start. Any player who wants to enroll after registration has closed will be able to do so, but will receive a round one match loss. Players arriving after round two has been paired will not be able to enroll in the tournament.
SEALED FORMAT EVENT:
The sealed format will be Shards of Alara, using 1 Shards of Alara tournament pack 2 Shards of Alara boosters per player.
This is a 32K event, and the REL is Competitive.
This event will be Modified swiss with a cut to the Top 8 players. The number of rounds will be based on number of players in the event.
DECK REGISTRATION:
Is required, you will have to register your product when you open it. Blank decklists will be available onsite.
ENTRY:
The cost is $30.00 - Credit cards are not accepted at the event site.
PRIZES!!!
1st - Travel Award or (if under 18) Appearance Fee and Qualification for Pro Tour Kyoto, and booster packs based on attendance.
2nd-4th booster packs based on attendance.
Top 4 Guaranteed a Box of Shards
5th-8th - booster packs based on attendance.
Additional boosters may be given out to people that place below Top 8 based on final standing and attendance as well. The exact booster packs that will be given out will be posted before the final round.
TRADING:
While trading is fine, do not buy or sell except to authorized dealers/shopkeepers. If you are found to be buying and/or selling you will be asked to leave and not given you a refund.
Sunmesa Events asks that you be mindful of space when selecting what to bring. Please DO NOT bring excessive trade stock.
