Favorite security/protection combo for you computer?

Just wanted to find out which programs do you use to protect yourself and why. Maybe there's a better program I haven't yet tried...

I myself use (for my Sony Vaio Laptop):

Antivirus: NOD 32
Fast, works like a sleeping baby. Uses little resources and it has no problems with updates. A lot better than NAV.

Firewall: ZoneAlarm Pro
Got to hate that Windows SP2 Firewall. This does the work.

Spyware Cleaner: Lavasoft Ad-aware SE Professional
Great program, usually cleans out everything.

On my comp, I use:

Firewall/antivirus - Norton Systemworks
Works slightly too well. Beware the parental controls.

Spyware - Spybot Search and Destroy/Lavasoft Ad-Aware SE Personal
One wipes out what the other doesn't, and vice versa. Two great programmes.

I use zone alarm as my firewall. And the same as Cinders uses, spybot, search and destroy for spyware.

I use AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition (version 7 or so). It's easy, it's free, and since I downloaded it I haven't had any problems with my computer. There was one glitch that haunted me for ages but AVG managed to clear it up (after about 2 or 3 updates...). Nice little program ^^

I hate all my protection software and generally turn it off. It annoys me, so I kill it. Not surprising there.

I'm a safe enough surfer so i do avoid most problems i could face. Plus as i'm on a network router, i'm already firewalled anyway (though I hate it too... damnit). I don't get much adware problems either because I use Firefox. Whilst there are adware problems you can get for it, they're a mere tiny fraction of the holes that can be infested within IE.

To have a favourite therefore would be an oxymoron, because I despise their existence with their annoying slow checks and constant bitching at me to pay to renew what I got for free. May they all buuuurn.

I like gary use very little spyware and computer virus protection, I however use Firefox and have e-trust real time monitor as a general protector which I only have because it came with my computer... My network is firewalled upto the eyebrows meaning my internet is slowed down considerably, and my Dad is so obsessed with Spyware protection etc he has ruined my old computer hense me giving that to him and getting one thats soley mine...
