Have you all seen this card yet? It says:
Titanic Ultimatum :r::r::g::g::g::w::w:
Sorcery
Until end of turn, creatures you control get +5/+5 and gain first strike, lifelink and trample.
Hard to cast but if you could put this under a Windbrisk Heights or maybe even a Mosswort Bridge it could be powerful. Should end the game as soon as you can activate the land to play it for free. If there was a way to tutor it to the top of your deck before playing the land. Hmmm.... Any ideas?
One more thing: If you use the land can you play it during combat or not? I don't know the ruling on timing with these land abilities. If not Mosswort Bridge would be the best bet.
I'm imagining the following scenario: Turn one Figure of Destiny, turn two Mosswort Bridge (getting very lucky) removing Titanic Ultimatum, turn Figure into a 2/2, turn three Woolly Thoctar , turn four some 3 mana creature with 3 or more power, activate the Bridge and swing for 25+
Even if you hit a Overrun instead you'd still do 14+

what's the rarity
I'm guessing mythic rare, because that is what it seems like to me, because you wouldn't play this in limited, and it's too costly for constructed, so hence this is a casual card

it is just regular rare. and yes, you could activate after blockers, before blockers, or before damage so you could do it in combat.

It's just a rare. You can use the spells under the lands at any time you could activate them (instant). Lilliana Vess, which costs BB, could put the card on top... a card costing WWGGGRR... This card is hardly viable in limited, the cost is outrageous and it would put you in colors so fast... I would pass it in draft and then hate out the archetype... Not constructed viable at all.

Oh its viable in limited. Not often, and you wouldn't pick it over anything like of high quality, and you may not even run it if your have it... but if you can cast it you basically win. If this comes around to you and you are Naya you probably want to grab it.
In constructed it is just a massively overcosted overrun.

If it only it was a Tribal Sorcery =( Then you could Harbinger for it. Oh well. It will probably see very little play.

... Ok this is an opps I win card. Perfect in Limited. This is like playing a Windbrisk Raptor in limited. U play it and go OOPS I win.. Consistent no but I think its sweet. The mana cost is clunky yes, but wow..

Putting this in kithkin as a 1x on the hope and prayer you hit it with a windbrisk heights seems ok. More powerful than mirrorweave under those circumstances, but if you ever drew it, you'd hate your life.

Ultimatum has five Orb hits. This is apparently a cycle. A cycle of 7-cost win-now bombs? Timmy will like it, no one else will. Like everything else Timmy loves this card can dominate multiplayer and never come out of your hand elsewhere. Next?

This will never see T2 play as long as both Garruk and Overrun are legal. The extra +2 each is negligible for the extra cost. Neither lifelink or first strike are important at the point that you cast this, as if it resolves you have won and thus no longer care about your health or that of your creatures.
But someone is going to have a mile-wide grin when they cast this in multiplayer.

I suppose that if I was on color for one of the cycle and it got passed to me, it's worth a 4-5th pick. It does read, "Tough as hell to cast: Win the game."

Use a bloom tender to make this kid cost 3 less to play provided you have a permenant of those three colors.
Its not too hard to find spells that allow you to remove instants or sorceries from you hand to play em without payin mana costs

Put it in your opponents graveyard and use memory plunder to play it?

How exactly, do you put your cards, in an opponent's graveyard? I was fairly confident cards always returned to their owners graveyard...

I think they could technically make a card that put a card in a graveyard that wasn't its owner's, but they probably wouldn't, just because it would be too easy to forget to retrieve it at the end of a game.

such a timmy card
my timmy protege will love this like he loves overrun but he can cast overrun.
i hate these 3 cost things. This set is full of timmy-hate
timmies are what makes this game slightly more commercially viable
and slightly more commercially viable means slightly less likely that hasbro will ax magic.
so alara is a bad thing.
my casual mana base may be able to support Esper Bant or Naya but not Grixis or Jund
this sucks for me i love grixis.
but umm this card is **** hard to play
but says you win. but WWGGGRR is too much too hard not viable.
if you were to be able to reliably play it, the amount of mana fixing you would require would lock you out of including creatures.
maybe this would work
4 vivid meadow
4 vivid crag
4 terramorphic expanse
2 mountains
2 plains
8 forrests
it is slow but will allow this spell to be cast on turn 8(without $15 lands)
doesn't make it viable though( ihate 3 colours, 2 is fine, 4 is powerful enough to build a deck around but 3 is the worst number. not overly powerful but so awkwardly costed that your deck will have slow or unreliable mana. and they are not powerful enough to warrant slow clunky unreliable mana.
I Rant to much

I could play it on turn three but i wont have a creature to pump up.
1 BOP
2 bloom tender
3 figure of destiny. tap bop and bloom tender for 4 colors of the card. you have the other three as mana base and you can cast this card. No good but can be done!

You can go
T1- BOP
T2- Bloom Tender and Figure of Destiny
T3- Bloom Tender#2 and Spectral Procession, maybe a Hideaway Land to make it fair?
T4- GG n00b?

I'd use this card as a 1-of in a deck just as a joke. I don't think it'll see much play in constructed standard as far as I know.

My stance is that this is trash, and unless the rest of the cycle has an alternate casting cost or actually has in the text, "You Win the Game," then they aren't playable as well. Cryptic Command tapping all of your creatures is just too good for this, you don't even have to counter the spell, it's nulled by that alone, and you get more of a benefit.

This is a card to stick under a hideaway land. Period. Timmy finds his inner Johnny.

Too high to cast like i said, Barring some green shenanigans you wont see this in t2

Ultimatum has five Orb hits. This is apparently a cycle. A cycle of 7-cost win-now bombs? Timmy will like it, no one else will.
I remember vaguely people saying this about Tooth and Nail and Dragonstorm. I wouldn't rule out the Ultimatums until I saw their actual texts. I'm sure one of them will have something quite close to "Win the game" on it (and I bet it'll be the blue-shard one).
This will never see T2 play as long as both Garruk and Overrun are legal. The extra +2 each is negligible for the extra cost. Neither lifelink or first strike are important at the point that you cast this, as if it resolves you have won and thus no longer care about your health or that of your creatures.
Don't think of it as +2, think of it as *1.67. If it can let you win the game while committing fewer creatures to the board (say, 2 or 3, instead of 4 or 5), you can argue that it's close to overrun. And if it's just shy of winning the game, the lifelink may let you win next turn after the opposing alpha strike.
Of course, managing to actually hit 7 mana with an agro deck is pretty tricky, and it's a blank topdeck without creatures on the board, so yeah, it won't see any play. But it might be better than overrun (which doesn't really see any play either).
