What level are these pokemon found at? (Pokefor doesn't help so don't send me there)

I need to know what level these pokemon are found at in Fire Red/Leaf Green and other games in General. I already checked Pokefor and it only says "This pokemon is not found int he wild" and the serach function shows almost nothing on even the most basic word searches, so if the information is there in the site somewhere, I'm sorry I couldn't find it. anyway, in Fire Red/LEaf Green, what level are these pokemon obtained at?

(I assume these three are found at lv 40 liek the Regi Trio and legendary dogs were as well, but I would just like to know for sure)

All the other legendaries I'm pretty sure I already got accurate, but if someone has that information too, that would be okay to give. I'm trying to compile a comprehensive list of the levels (and level ranges) all the pokemon are found in all the games. I've been ammassing a HUGE variety of data and I'm trying to be as thorough as possible and getting every aspect of every pokemon from every game. I've been thinking about writing a Faq for gamefaqs, but I hgihly doubt I ever will. I still would like all the information I can get though, so if anyone knows what levels these pokemon are found at, that would terrifically helpful! (I know these are all one time only pokemon, or in game traded only pokemon, which is why I'm having a hard time finidng the info I need. It seems that none of the faqs list levels except for the legendaries, and pokefor lists the level ranges for wild pokemon, just not pokemon given in in game trades or legendaries, so if you have the info I need, that would be terrific! thanks!)

Seriously? Mr. Mime, Jynx, Lickitung and farfetch'd are really given to you at the level that you trade away? That's actually good to know! It's been MONTHS since I traded any pokemon in Saphire, so is it the same thing when you trade pokemon in Ruby/Saphire, or are those traded pokemon at fixed levels? Anyway, thanks for telling me about these pokemon.

The Legendary birds are all at elvel 50? You're sure? (I just want to make sure, since the dogs and Regitrio where all at level 40)

Mew, well, it's not really in Fire Red/Leaf Green, but I did say games in General, and in Emerald, Mew is found on Wrold's Edge Isalnd at level 30 (I THINK, that's why I wanted to be sure)

And finally, yeah, I know Celebi isn't in any North American games at all right now, but I was just curious as to what level it was on in Japanese giveaways/Games.

All in-game trades give you Pokemon that are the same level as the ones you trade.

Yes, the birds are found at lv. 50, and Mew at lv. 30.

I'd assume that you get Celebi at lv. 5 (like with Jirachi), but I don't have any proof. =/

Also, it's wierd, I've googled, looked at gamefaqs and several other Websites, and I can't seem to find what levels pokemon are found at. Well, wild Pokemon, but not fixed or Gifted pokemon. Apparently not many people are interested in it, but I would have thought with the amount of useless info people put out about pokemon, that something like what level you get them at would be somewhat important! :D Anyway, thank you so much for the help, and I hope I can get some more! ;)

I got my Porygon at lv. 26. o_O I'm not sure if all Porygon you get are at that level, because 26 seems like an odd number to me...

I believe my Porygon was at lv 26, too. I'm not sure, but I think the other gift Pokemon depend on your game. Scyther for FR and Pinsir for LG. I'm not sure about levels. If I'm wrong correct me because you'd be helping me out. I remember back in the Gold and Silver days Nintendo use to post wild Pokemon levels in their official guide.

Well I don't think I've used my porygon any (gasp from teh surprise!) so upon checking my FR... Yup, it's 26. It might be lower in LG though because it's significantly cheaper... >_<

omg! I can't believe I didn't know that :eek:! I thought when I got my second Porygon (in FR) that it seemed much more expensive than the first one (in LG) :eek:...

Anyway, just done a side-by-side comparison, and it turns out LG isn't always cheaper. I wish this board could do tables, but it can't, so you'll have to make do with 2 lists:

Leaf Green prices:
Abra 120
Clefairy 750
Pinsir 2500
Dratini 4600
Porygon 6500

Fire Red prices:
Abra 180
Clefairy 500
Dratini 2800
Scyther 5500
Porygon 9999

So Abra and Porygon are cheaper in LG, and Clefairy and Dratini are cheaper in FR. Also, Pinsir in LG is much much cheaper than Scyther in FR. I suppose it seems that LG is cheaper because Abra, Clefairy and Dratini aren't actually that hard to get, whereas Pinsir/Scyther are a pain to catch, and Porygon is unobtainable any other way...

EDIT: After trying a bunch of things, I can't get it to work. But I'll go to my other board and ask around and tell you how to do it, because there is a way, I just don't remember how.

EDIT: Okay, I think I've found out how to do this. Use the [ code ] and [ /code ] tags and just keep track of the amount of spaces you use (if the tables don't turn out right still, you might need to use the courier font in addition ot the code tags, which will look like this [ font=courier ] and [ /font ]

So to make tables, use the code tags and just keep track of how many spaces you used.

You can also catch both of them in the safari zone Sycther in FR and Pinsir in LG.

Eevee is obtained at level 25. When I got my Porygon it was level 18 :\ I wonder if version matters? I have LG and I'd bet that those who got porygon at level 26 have FR.

Also I dunno if you have these but meh: Hitmonchan and Hitmonlee are both level 25 when you recieve them. Kabuto and Omynite are level 5 when recieved as is Aerodactyl.

oh man, thank you so much Pikachu! I hadn't gotten to those yet, but I would have and having that info is tremendously helpful! Thanks for posting it! That's weird that the fossils in Ruby/Saphire are level 20 when you get them, but in Fire Red/LEaf Green they're onyl level 5. Anyway, thanks again so much for that extra info! that is terrific and I am glad we got those gift pokemon taken care of before I ran into them on my to do list and had to come BACK here again. Thanks so much!

And on a side note, on pure speculation, perhaps that is why Porygon is a different price in different versions; it's level. That would make sense, I guess.

Also I'm not sure if you'll even need these but I have the levels of the other pokemon you can buy from the game corner. (These like Porygon may be different in Fire red)

Abra - Level 7
Clefairy - Level 12
Pinsir - Level 18
Dratini - Level 24

Again you may or may not have it but thought I'd throw it in anyway: Lapras is level 25 when recieved.

Pinsir is LG only and Scyther is FR only. You can in theory catch them in the Safari Zone, but they are only found in one section and the encounter rate is 1% - plus they have a tendency to flee immediately. It took me about 3 hours of swearing, cursing and throwing the controller on the floor (fortunately was doing it through the GB Player rather than on my GBA) to catch a Scyther, and then it had The Worst IVs EVAR! (I'm not joking: 0 in Atk, 0 in Def, 6 in Speed, 10 in HP, 10 in Sp Def and 11 in Sp Atk. Fortunately, I caught a female and her son has IVs in the 20s for all stats). Also fortunately, I didn't need to catch a Pinsir because I already had a bunch of them from Sapphire, for some reason.

You could've saved yourself a HUGE amount of time by reading the FAQ for this board, specifically this bit: vB Code List (http://forum.tcgplayer.com/misc.php?do=bbcode) ;). That's how I found out you can't do tables here when I wanted to post one a few weeks ago, to include the results of my Surf experiment.
