if the new type of monster is synchro

how do u synchro summon??

Its simple. You send 1 tuner monster and 1 or more non-tuners thats combined level equals level of wanted synchro monster to graveyard to synchro summon wanted synchro monster.

For example sending 1 lv3 tuner and 1 lv5 non-tuner to graveyard would allow synchro summon of lv8 synchro monster.

But also note that some Syncho Monsters are more specific, and name some of their components. Junk Warrior's Tuner must be Junk Synchron. For Avenging Knight Parshath, the non-Tuner must be a Light monster.

However these are all clearly stated on the Synchro Monster card.

can u synchro summon a monster with 8 or less stars or does it have to be the specific amount of lvs to synchro summon

Got to be specifically the same level. You could only summon a Lv8 with those.
