5D Starter: Buy the deck or just singles?

I've seen the decklist and it's pretty crappy overall. If the only reasons to get the deck is because of the Synchros and Tuners, is it better to just buy the singles and avoid paying the full price for the starter deck?

i'll try to buy at least 2 of this decks, the cards inside the deck are really good, copycat, the 3 synchro(they're not the best ones but is a way to star playin' them), junk warriors and other tuners, and the traps are really good and like 2 new ones.

If you can get all the singles you need for cheaper then do it.

Colossal Fighter
and possibly Scrap-Iron Scarecrow

I rather get this as well as the Duelist Genesis packs. The new cards and even some old ones from the Starter deck will be quite useful for a synchro type deck. My best picks from the 5D Starter is the synchros, copycat, tuners, Scrap-Iron Scarecrow and Miniaturize.

Cards to consider:
Copycat
Divine Wrath

Most of the other cards are useless or hasn't been a major player within the meta. I think you should wait for Duelist Packsto come out though because I'm 100% sure you can do more just with the Duelist Packs and Duelist Genesis.

If you're only looking to get a few good cards from it to use in your decks, then just use the rest as trade fodder. The cards in it are pretty hot right now. That's what I'm gonna do, by the way. :P

Buy them. Singles normally are expensive online and they are not sold at most stores.

Defenetly its worth getting. You get tuners and synchros strait from starter and as addition it has some other worth to get cards. Oh and it also has Double Summon in it as common.

Get the deck. It's easy to drop the excess off on kids. I have bought two and may buy a third.

usually(as mentioned earlier) its more woth it to dump the other stuff on Kids/noobs/original players
usually the cards u need are about 2 bucks a piece 2*5=10+shipping costs
deck 15+if ur student and u buy at like zellers or so u get 10% off

I can't believe nobody's mentioned Smashing Ground yet. It's got that, Double Summon, Marauding Captain, decent tuners, some pretty decent synchros (other than that jank Gaia Knight..) and some pretty cool traps. I'd give it a go - it's not as bad as you might think by looking at it.

yeah this is a cool deck to buy. you get 3 holo synchros (colossal having value like blitz said...its bigger than rest and can get goyo after its killed)...

plus junk synchron common is FTW

and copy cat is cool too..

I think it all depend's.. why not have both?? Because like I've heard said a lot. everyone should buy 2 5D's Starter's! The card's in there arent absolutely the best but they will definately get you kicking! And everyone should have at least 2 Junk's.. or 3.
