Okay well here it is, it was kind of hard without some certain trainers. I put this HL-on. Here it is:

Pokemon (25)
4 Poliwag
4 Poliwhirl
3 Politoed ex
2 Poliwrath
2 Slugma
2 Magcargo
4 Plusle(I guess that would have to do after set rotations)

Energy (11)
2 Scramble Energy
5 Water
4 Fighting

Trainers (25)
4 Stevens
4 Celio’s
4 Copycat
2 PETM (for the ex’s)
3 Swoop! (to get rid of the Plusles)
2 Island Cave (stadium…couldn’t think of anything else)
2 Strength Charm
1 Crystal Shard
1 VS Seeker
1 ATMR

Strategy is basically beating down with Politoed ex, and when i need to Poliwrath. Magcargo searches for the Politoeds if i can't get my hands on a PETM. I might replace PETM with Cozmos just because of the straight draw. Island cave is there cuz i needed a stadium and couldnt think of anything else. The trainers were really hard to choose. So yeah, help me please!

You definitely need more straight draw. Possibly in the form of Cozmo or even Mary's Request. You can drop two of your draw/search cards for 2 more energies.

My fix
-1 Toed
-2 Celio
-3 Swoop(why bother)
+2 Water
+2 Fighting
+2 S!TM(for switching out between Poli's)

Which poliwrath are we talkin' here? ^_^;;

Also, couldn't you just use bill's for draw?

And, will HL really be included in the next modified? The double printing of herb seems to indicatre otherwise...

I noticed that, but i'm assuming its HL on, not sure. Oh and the Poliwrath is also from Gs/Ss (note the fighting energy).

You have 6 Poliwraths in there...hehe.

I guess the first 4 are supposed to be poliwhirls.

I'm sure a lot of changes will occur between now and when the next 2 sets come out. I would wait a little while on the deck building until we're certain.

Maybe you can use Surprise!Time machine to keep changing btween toad for its power in confuse pokemon and toad ex for high damage

Surprise! Time Machine doesn't seem like a horrible idea either. Your main issue with this deck is your straight draw. All you have is Steven's in order to cover Magcargo. And Magcargo is pretty crappy unless you can draw the card right then; fields can change too quickly.

I'm actually kind of confused at S!TM. I know what it does. You take your evo off, shuffle it into your deck, then if you have the same card in play you get to search for an evo and evolve. What exactly is the point?

Not quite. You first devolve and shuffle the top evolution of one of your Pokemon into your deck. Then, you search your deck for a card that evolves from that Pokemon, and place it on that Pokemon, thus evolving it. Outside of the text: if you do not have a card that evolves from that Pokemon, you do not get an evolution out; if there are more damage counters on the stage below that Pokemon than that Pokemon's HP, that Pokemon is KO'd; you cannot search out a stage 2 when you used rare candy or some other stage skipping card in order to get that Pokemon out, you have to take that Pokemon's stage 1 form.

Basically, it's a way to switch Poliwrath and Politoed ex without switches and keeping the energies on that Pokemon.

ohh now i get it. Thanks.

Yeah. Not only that, but it also rids you of special conditions, any other crappy effects that may have befallen you, and lastly can let you reuse a poke-power that can only be used while active (or something like that).

This is all assuming that you've got enough HP to pull off the devolution. But if you want to use swallow efficiently you probably will try to keep your hp high. Somehow.

Are even trying to use swallow? I don't know, it always takes me a while with new cards. And old cards. <_<

Well of course i'm trying to use Swallow. I added in the Poliwrath since id get creamed playing an all water deck. i could use potion :P or maybe the new berry.

Its a good idea, but potion just isn't worth it and sitrus berry cant be used on ex's.

You could heal it as a Poliwrath and then S!TM....but thats a rare situation.

Yeah, that it is. I mean, swallow's rpetty good, but it's costly and eventually its damage output will fall permanently. What's the plan for this situation?

Well...assuming that you get it out early in the game, you going to be doing 120 damage to most things your encountering since you start out with 150 HP. In most cases thats an OHKO.

The idea is to rack up the prizes before the attack diminishes. Dont forgot that you can always use a second or third fresh politoed ex for max damage.
