in case you haven't already seen this:
Not sure if word about this has gotten out yet, but I've just been authorized to let you all know of a new pack configuration starting with The Duelist Genesis, just in case you haven't heard yet.
Beginning with The Duelist Genesis, if a booster pack has a holo, it will not replace the regular rare. That means that if you get a secret, ultimate, ultra or super rare in a pack, you will get a regular silver rare also plus seven commons, rather than just eight commons (from what I'm told).
Enjoy!
it's a good thing i suppose. also there's no price difference.

this should make the pre release more interesting if people can potentially get twice as many rares/supers as before.

Why is it, if you don;t own a scale or cannot scale the book its goner be terrible, for the non scales who think luck should be luck. why don;t they say there will be a holo in every pack you buy. plz check this control deck out.

I don't know if this is legitimate otherwise we would have seen some of it advertised in the selling points on different things. Anytime UDE does something new like this (ghost rares, gold foil technology, new secret rare introductions, ocg cards printed, exclusive tcg cards printed, the list goes on) they advertise it and now this looks like something that was copied and pasted into a new forum to see who they could fool. I will believe this when I see it.

Just don't get fooled into thinking that you'll get holos any easier now that before. If it means that regular silver rares are standard for all packs might just mean getting holos is even harder to do unless you buy a booster box. In other words, don't bother buying single packs or blister packs...you'll just be wasting your money.

Yeah I just saw that which does make it more reputable. It would just make things easier that if someone had seen that message earlier to just post the link with it so it doesn't look like just another rumor. If it is true (which I hope it will be) it will make players a little happier and I think that the packs themselves will be easier to see if it has a higher rarity in there.

I rather like the idea of being able to get those pesky Rares while still having those Holos you need. Often i'm trying harder to get the rares then the secrets cause noone ever wants to give up secrets unless i give an arm and a leg for it, and rares are hard to get cause everyone wants the secret and ultra so it's a very lopsided trade.
