Like I said in one of my previous threads, if I do well I would post a Tourny Report. Well I did do good just by a small fraction not too good to make top 8. I don't want to go into elaborate details on what I played. I can tell you what I played against and what I lost to and what I beat.
Round 1: Fossil Oppression Gadgets vs. Gladiator Beasts
I lose the first game and then win the second but he comes and beats me 3rd game. He took the match. 0-1
Round 2: F.O.G. vs. Gladiator Beasts
I beat him game 1 by sheer force. Get him second game to win 2-0. I took the match. 1-1
Round 3: F.O.G. vs Monarchs (not Corn)
I beat him game 1 and game 2. He wasn't very smart on playing the deck because he would reckless as soon as I drew. Also had Hand Destruction in it for some reason. He had 2 cards left by turn 1! I took the match. 2-1
Round 4: F.O.G. vs. Gigaplant
He beats me round 1 because I see no oppression or pachy. I come back and beat him next 2 rounds. I take the match and now I'm 3-1
Round 5: F.O.G. vs Oppression Gadgets (no pachy)
I beat him game 1 and then game 2 with ease. I'm pretty smart on what to Solemn in a mirror match. I take the match. 4-1
Round 6: F.O.G. vs. Corn Monarchs
I beat him game 1 by taking his prime with my controller and then hitting him for game. Second game I side in Mask of Restrict and he basically can't do anything (He even sided into D.A.D. but never saw it). He shows me his hand after the duel and it's 2 Primes, 1 Mobius, 1 Brain. He would have owned if not for the mask. I took the match with ease. 5-1
Round 7: F.O.G. vs Lightsworn
He gets me game 1 and game 2 for the match within 7 minutes in all! I blame it on the opening hand of 3 Gadgets, and 1 other monster. He took the match. 5-2
Round 8: F.O.G. vs Lightsworn
I get him game 1 barely. I was left with 100 life points. He SS JD and pops then reborn his Celestia hits I have 100. I had vortex for game there. He gets me game 2. I get him game 3; and I see his hand it's 2 JD and 2 Celestia no other monsters. I took the match. 6-2
Well after all of this I realize I have a small and tiny fraction of making top 8. I speak with the GB guy who beat me round 1 and he's 6-2 and then the LS guy who got me made top 8 so IDK. Well they post the rankings and then I notice I GOT 9TH PLACE!!!!!!!!!!! I am insanely mad and then I get my packs and I pull jank. Out of 10 packs, I pull jank!!! I throw them all away.
I was angry at myself for geting 9th and pulling jank. It was all a waste. Not a very good regionals. It would have been my 2nd top 8 too!
