Where can you get the tickets in order to catch Lugia and Ho-oh in leaf green?
And...um....does somebody know how I can catch Deoxys?
The tickets can be obtained from a machine at a nintendo event that downloads them onto your game pack via the wireless link, this will open up island 8 and island 9
Deoxys is found on island 9 at lv30
Ho-oh and Lugia are both on island 8

I thought Nintendo has ONLY given out the Aurora Ticket (to get Deoxys) and Lugia and Ho oh have yet to be given out (Mystic Ticket) Isn't that right? Or were both tickets given out? (Aurora Ticekt to Get Deoxys, Mystic Ticket to get Lugia & Ho oh, one ticket won't get you all three though) were Lugia and Ho oh given out? (Mystic Ticket) cause I thought that they weren't yet.
I thought they both came out at the same time at the same promotional thing

well I don't know for sure, I'm just relaying what I heard. I was under the impression that only Deoxys (aurora Ticket) had been released.

I think it's a Rainbow ticket for Ho-oh and Lugia's island actually. Reeeally can't remember exactly though.
Deoxys WAS given out, on the Pokemon Rocks America tour and when the movie was released at the Pokemon Centres. So, the Aurora ticket has reached America. The ticket for Ho-oh and Lugia was released pretty quietly in Japan at the later end of last year, but no sign of it anywhere else yet.

You guys can get Ho-oh in Colosseum so if you're worried about him, don't worry....if you have Colosseum. XD
I happen to be one of the lucky ones who went to the Pokemon Center in New York and got the Aurora Ticket for both my sister's FR and my LG. A legitimate Deoxys....I SO rule. =D
As for the Mystic Ticket, it hasn't been given out yet in the US. As of now, the only Pokemon that cannot be caught legitimately are Mew, Lugia, and Celebi. Mew needs yet another special ticket to get her in Emerald(according to Serebii.) However, if they do give it out anytime soon, I expect them to give it out at either:
1) Another Pokemon Rocks America tour
2) The Pokemon Center in NY(most likely IMO)
or
3) At chain stores as they did with my beloved Eon Ticket.
I'll take a moment to explain the Eon Ticket one. Y'see, long ago, they used to give out E-reader Eon Tickets at stores like Toys 'R Us. I managed to snag about 8, and gave a few away to my Pokemon-loving friends. I still have 2....and I'm keeping them. ^^;
And Gary....you may be thinking Rainbow Pass. :p

Here's a question, Lugiasian, once oyu have the Mystic or Aurora Ticket (and yes, it is the Aurora Ticket, Gary. The Rainbow pass is to go to the Sevii Islands) are you able to pass them onto other people (via Mystery gifts or whatever) like you can with the EON ticket in Ruby/Saphire? (Although not by the same means, becuase in Ruby/Saphire you mix records, but I was wondering if you could switch on Mystery Gifts for both people and hte person who has the ticket can pass it onto someone else in FR/LG or something) or is the onyl way to have the ticket to be acutally there in the giveaway area and if you weren't there (or bought the game long after the event was held) there's no way you could ever get it, even if someone you know has the ticket in there game?
And as for the Mew, it will actually not be a ticket, but an "old Map" so HOPEFULLY this will only require the ITEM (which can easily be "acquired!" ) and not another stupid event to be unlocked in the game. Mainly because I heard that the ticket activating event code doesn't work in Fire REd/LEaf Green (even though you can get the tickets, you can't get them to work) which could mean the codes to acitvate the tickets in Emerald won't work either. I'm kinda worried because if it was actually possible to get some of these tickets legit, I would be fine, but since I can't it's annoying having to rely on cheat codes that may or may not work for an event Nintendo wouldn't make available to the masses anyway. So I'm concerned about that, and frankly am starting to get a tad tired of having more and more stuff not available to me becuase I don't live in the one city in the entire hemisphere that Nintendo deems worthy. with Red/Blue it was JUST Mew, but now it's Mew, Deoxys (which while available, isn't very wide spread) Lugia, Celebi, and who knows, perhaps the next gen will have another three pokemon only available if you go to Nagasaki, Japan on 14352 Elm Ave between the hours of 4:56pm and 4:55 pm on the same day (yes, I know. The times were intentional! ;) ) and you MUST go there 5 days after the game is released or else you will never get the tickets. If the things were easy to get, or at least available to get in a lot more places it wouldn't be so annoying (and honestly, if it were possible to get these things, then I never would have gotten a gameshark or AR in the first place) I really wish Nintendo would release e-cards again or even another Bonus disc, something that everyone COULD get, rather than only what the people in or around one city could get.
Going on that note, I have to say that as of today (Saturday) I finally broke down and bought Fire Red, considering that I won't be able to play Diamond/Pearl because I am morally opposed to them (well, that and I'm never getting a DS, but mostly the whole moral outrage thing! It makes me seem less cheap! :D ) and I already bought the strategy guide becuase it had more Pokedex info than just the Saphire/Ruby and Colosseum guides. But anyway, like I said, some people bought the games LONG after the event was held, so are they totally screwed if (as my friend told me) the cheat codes to make the tickets work don't actually work? Is there no way to have the ticket sent to my game by linking in some way to another game?

Don't think so. Y'see, when you get the Aurora Ticket, the machine in the PCNY sent something via Mystery Event. You get a Wonder Card, and *possibly*, you can send it to other people with Mystery Events activated. However, I've tried this with a friend and it doesn't seem to work somehow...I think the friend needs a Wonder Card, too....
I hate how Nintendo makes us travel, like, 600 freakin' miles just to obtain a couple of pixels of data. -_- Luckily I live RIGHT NEXT to New York and have easy access to the PCNY. I got Celebi a few years ago in my G/S/C versions at Six Flags, Latios in my Sapphire from the Eon Ticket E-card, Jirachi from the bonus disc, and Deoxys from the PCNY on Haloween. However, there's a possibility that I could be moving to Florida, so....
What would be best for Nintendo is for them to build several PC's around America, and possibly around the world. Like, a PC in Orlando, a PC in Chicago....like that. Better business for Nintendo, and that means more money. =D But alas, Nintendo insists on making Pokemaniacs' lives hard....

or even better yet, sending a device that transmits the data (easy to do, simply make a program or cartridge that transmits the data, send it around to stores and have them simply hook it up to a gameboy w/Wireless adaptor or now the DS somewhere in the back of the store) and send it around to certain chains (or ALL the chains) like EBgames, toys R Us, even Wal Mart and just have people come in for it. I mean, nintendo sends promotional stuff around to the stores all the time, so what's one cartridge? Although, I personally like the E-card idea better only because there's not a time limit on when you can activate it, and if you decide to start a new game (like I did with Saphire) then you can just go through the events again rather than not having anything at all. I'm still kind adisappointed I never saved any of my pokemon from the first game. not like they were that great to begin with, but it was my first pokemon game after all.
