i've looked all over the internet for a block version of quick 'n toast. i like the deck and wondered if anyone had a decklist for block season.
Mike Flores' article on Wizards has the deck Manuel Bucher played at Grand Prix Birmingham. The Grand Prix Birmingham coverage also covers the deck, as do the PTQ's at Hollywood. On the MTG part of TCG player they link you directly to the top 8 decklists of Grand Prix Birmingham. Deckcheck.net has the list. What may be screwing you up, is the name. '10 Commandments'

It's even broken in this deck, drawing 6-7 cards late game is amazing vs. kithkin or fae as you can get firespouts, austeres or cloudthreshers again.

I'm playing a similar, now 5 color deck with the inclusion of Firespout, it used to be Solar Flare though. I don't see how Mind Spring could be more relevant than a Mulldrifter, if you don't get to 8 or 9 mana as Mustardknight says above, it seems worse. You don't get the ability to cast a 3 mana draw spell, effectively Counsel of the Soratami, which you can Mannequin the next turn. Besides, I would rather have the 2/2 flier more often than not, including when I'm staring down a Gaddock Teeg and I can't play my Broken Ambitions, Cryptic Command, Mind Spring, Mannequin or Austere Command. Ouch, down to six outs, 3x Firespout and 3x Shriekmaw. Also, my PTQ experience with a similar deck last weekend was that I get stuck on 5 land a lot more than I would like, Austere May be worse than Incremental Blight, especially with a decent number of people playing Heartmender decks. What's with the 1 of Plumeveil?

Flash blocker can be more helpful then board sweeping. because you killing that key creature they hope to mirrorweave later.
I love the idea of this deck. I would love to use it this weekend at the PTQ but I want to fit Oversoul of Dusk in this bad boy, or a chameleon Colossus.
Flash blocker is alright. More often I find you kill a creature they could have mirror weaved, and simply attack and mirrorweave their men into 4/4's, achieving roughly the same effect.
